Restaurant Review: Dirty Bones - Soho, London
Buried deep inside the assiduous streets of Soho, London, is an area so rife with life that it makes Times Square in NYC seem like a funeral wake. Together with raucous noise and ambience, the streets are littered with the cool kids from every corner of the globe, sauntering through the back streets of a once seedy part of cultural hell. Since those days, of course, the area has undergone significant change, bringing in the vibrancy of innocent youth, as opposed to the 70s underbelly of the punk era. Both retail and food have long since moved in, offering up a hub for social and touristic enterprise. In the heart of it all, a relatively new centre has been created: Kingly Court.

Restaurant Review: The Ninth - Fitzrovia, London
Walking through the back streets of Fitzrovia, central London, is like taking a "Star Tour" through the Hollywood-rich areas of LA.... but instead of seeing the size of Jennifer Anniston's elaborately conceived, paparazzi stifling front gates, we get to marvel at some of the most famous names in the UK restaurant Scene. Located just a few doors away from the juggernaut, 'Pied-a-Terre', is the eloquently hidden 'The Ninth'.

5 Delicious Late Night Snack Restaurants in Denver
Late night snacking has almost become an art form in Denver. Compared to certain other cities, restaurants in Denver close early, even on the weekend! (And yes, 11:00 PM is early on a Friday or Saturday night) So it can be hard to find a good place to grab some grub after having a few drinks with your friends. Because of this reason, I have compiled a list of five of my favorite late night spots in no particular order, and I'm including some menu recommendations for you to try while there.

Delicious Seasonal Dessert at D Bar
Last weekend, I had a guest visiting from Mississippi and I wanted to make sure she ate well while in Denver. Once I found out she has a sweet tooth, I knew I had to take her to D Bar in Uptown Denver near 19th and Pennsylvania, which is run by Food Network Celebrity Chef Keegan Gerhard. D Bar offers an intimate dining experience filled with delicious sweets, comfort foods, and savory plates that's perfect for any date night or friendly outing. They also offer a happy hour selection that I would recommend checking out if you're in the area Monday through Friday 3-6:00 PM. The typical mass clientele is aged mid 20s to late 30s but the menus appeal to just about everyone. I have seen small children there before, but due to the complexity of the menu I wouldn't recommend it unless your kids are like Neal Patrick Harris.

Best Baltimore Child-Friendly Restaurants
Before discovering delicious international food while travel, look around you and explore it near you! Baltimore is a small city that is home to a lot of great and delicious food outlets. The Southern leanings show up in desserts like the multi-layered Smith Island cake. You will also taste the varying flavor accents of many different ethnic groups that have made the city their home. There are also a lot of local delicacies that you can try, such as their crabs.

Variety in the Woods
I must start with a disclaimer: I grew up in the Poconos and moved back twice more over the years. I watched it evolve from a wooded wilderness safe from tourists five days of the week to a destination full of city folk who chop down every tree on their increasingly tiny lots. I remember few chain restaurants, local roads that were safe from the tourists, and frequent winter power outages. Now, most chains have taken over Route 611 and beyond, GPS means no backroad is safe, and, well, depending on where you live, the power still sucks…

L'Espresso
5/5 Dayni Rating. L’espresso has been a key feature on Ballarat's Sturt Street for as long as I can remember. It’s a quaint little space that’s very cleverly laid out with the entrances leading to separate sides of the cafe that are divided by shelves filled with vinyl records, CDs, newspapers, and magazines. The age of the building shows in the ornamental roof, moody green wall paint, and the 70s-looking wooden tables, chairs, and front counter, but the creative decision to have low lighting really plays into the retro feel of the cafe in a very clever way. It feels warm, and cozy, and even on a random Monday morning... the place was PACKED! Everyone was chatting away, even if they didn’t arrive or dine together, which tells me that this place is filled to the brim with locals (which is always a great sign), but not only were they locals, every single person in the cafe, besides my sister and I, seemed to be regulars! And THAT is a very good sign, a cafe with an army of regulars is always, without a doubt, no questions asked, serving great food. The atmosphere can be as warm and cozy as can be, but if the food's not up to scratch, people won’t come back, and I can safely say that L’espresso does not have this problem!

What to Eat in Albuquerque: A Local Recommends
At the foot of the Sandia mountains in the American Southwest lies the small urban community of Albuquerque, New Mexico. New Mexico is truly one of the most wonderful hidden gems in North America. With its sweeping mesas and seemingly endless sky that feels larger than life, for me... New Mexico will always be home.

Wilkes-Barre Food
Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. We start our journey here because this is where I lived until fairly recently and, after six years, I got to know the place. I know, it gets a bad name, and it was certainly not my favorite place of residence, even if I technically lived across the river in Kingston; but there are silver linings in all situations and my six years did not defy the pattern. I had the great fortune of living near my best friends and, more importantly for the subject of today’s post, I ate lots of food. Mmmmm. There are some delicious places to stop by if you're in the area.
