Eat Your Beets Leaves and All
I went for a walk in the rain today. Summer rain. The type of rain that isn’t that heavy but constant. The air felt and looked misty. The countryside side of the urban edge of our small town of Loughborough felt and looked particularly bucolic this day. The sheep helped this vision and the rain didn’t seem to bother them so why would it bother me? It didn’t.

Caviar, Sea Urchin, and Friends
Caviar and sea urchin are two foods that people generally either love or hate. I love them. They're really wonderful on their own, but they're also delicious paired together, and with other ingredients. They add a sense of luxury to a meal. The options are endless. But what if you're not familiar with either, or you're not sure what to do with them besides just eat them by themselves?

Super Fruit Blitz
Summer. I love summer. I love to complain about how hot it is. I love being able to jump into a crystal clear pool after sweating out toxins stored over winter. I love the tan my pale and pasty legs sometimes accomplish. And I LOVE the fruit that comes into season when the weather is hot, hot, hot! And I love making my favorite frozen drink to share with the family on those days that is just perfect for grilling and picnics.

9 Weird Popcorn Toppings for Your Next Movie Night
Ah, popcorn—possibly the most universally cherished movie time snack, and definitely the easiest to eat buckets of without even realizing it. Most of us stick to a traditional approach of topping our popcorn with salt and butter, and sometimes we even spice things up a bit with some sweet and salty mix. But weird popcorn toppings? Usually not on people's radars.

What to do to feed two pre-teen boys?
Our almost teenager has had a friend over since Saturday night. They are constantly eating, and since school has been out, I have had to explain that ours can't just sit in his room all day and eat all the snack foods in the house and play video games. (I just went in his room looking for a Xbox controller, and found a thing of Oreo's that was brand new and now might have eight cookies left in it, and half a bag of chocolate chips. I also found the popcorn salt. So I'm not exactly sure what they were eating.
