Jessica's Top 5 Treats To Beat The Heat

Like most people ya girl likes to eat food all year round, but in the warmer seasons I don't like to eat just any food. Alright you got me! Hi I'm Jessica and well I love all foods equally regardless of season, but let me tell you that the best foods in my opinion for summer are the cold ones. Like hear me out; summer is like totally super hot, and cold foods like ice cream are like not. Pretty convincing argument if your like me and always looking to beat the heat every summer.

Luckily for us humanity has created so many different foods and drinks that help beat the heat every summer and below if you'd join me I'd like to take you through some of my favorite options to get that sweet treat to beat the heat!

Option A Slushies: Slushies are an amazing drink item that can keep us cold in the warm seasons. Some places know them by other names such as "Freezies" or "Big Gulps". Regardless of what they're called the slushy is a fun flavored drink. Commonly found in places like convenient stores and sometimes carnivals the slushy is absolutely essential to staying cool throughout the summer.

Option B Ice Cream: I know we already talked about ice cream near the beginning, but there is still so much more that can be discussed. For example ice cream comes in tons of fun flavors like "chocolate bunny tracks fudge cream" or "Blueberry moon" to list a few. Also with ice cream comes toping like "cookie bits", "sprinkles", or "rainbow gummy bears". As for where to obtain some yummy yummy ice cream and toppings you can visit your local grocery store, convenient stores, ice cream trucks, carnivals, most fast food locations, and if your local area has one ice cream parlors.

Option C Snow Cones (Snow Balls): Here comes another fun one, you see depend on where you live snow cones might have other names for example my friend who live in the southern united states has known snow cones as snow balls her entire life, while ya girl over here in the pacific north west has always known them as snow cones. I've also heard people refer to them as shaved ice cones, but despite the variety in names the best part of any snow cone is the different flavors they come in. More often than not snow cones come in fun flavors like "Unicorn Rainbow" and more fruity flavors like "Razzle Berry". Now to help you locate your next snow cone they are often found in carnivals, sold at events, and sometimes sold by a friendly neighbor out of little snow cone cart.

Option D Popsicles: This item is in my opinion a staple classic for summer! You find them every year at your local grocery stores when every the season starts to change and summer emerges. The popsicle is a wonderful treat to beat the heat that comes in a variety of flavors that all taste rather good. Another cool thing about this sweet treat is that anyone with access to a freezer, some ice trays and tooth picks can become a summer time wiz in the kitchen and make their own popsicles.

Option D (creation steps): First get yourself your favorite juice or flavored drink and poor it in your ice tray, then take your tooth picks or popsicle sticks and put one in each little cube section. Put your batch of popsicles in your freezer and wait until their frozen. You have just created a simple little popsicle that not only tastes good, but also looks cute!

Option E Frozen Yogurt: Frozen Yogurt also known by some as "Fro Yo" is a relatively health option to treat yourself to something that tastes sweet, can beat the heat and is available pretty much anywhere. You can make your own (full disclosure I don't know how, but I know its possible) or you can find it at your local grocery store, and if they don't have it at least here in the untied states Frozen Yogurt parlors and places exist in most places.
