For these reasons, it can be useful in everyday life to enjoy a delicious meal without the hassle. If you want to get the most out of your air fryer, here are some vegan air fryer recipes for you!

These apple chips are absolutely delicious and healthy since they contain no fat or oil. When you make them yourself at home, you can control the amount of sugar that goes in them too.

Ingredients

1 green apple (unpeeled) cut into thin wedges, seeds removed

2 teaspoons lemon juice (optional)

1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

1/4 cup water

Instructions:

Preheat the air fryer to 360 degrees. Mix the apple wedges, cinnamon, and lemon juice in a bowl. Put half of the mixture in the basket of your air fryer and cook for 7 minutes or until they become golden brown. Repeat with the other half of the mixture.

French fries

Liven up the classic french fries with this tasty vegan dipping sauce. It's an excellent way to enjoy your favorite chips without feeling guilty about it.

Ingredients

Irish potatoes(4-5, sliced into fries)

2 teaspoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

Preheat the air fryer at 390 degrees. Mix all of the ingredients, except the fries, in a bowl with a whisk until you get a smooth consistency. Place in the basket half of your fries and cook for approximately 21 minutes, turning them every 5 minutes or so with tongs. Repeat with remaining fries.

Vegan meatballs

Adding yeast flakes to the vegan meatballs will help them get a more protein-rich taste. It's important not to overcook them during preparation because they might become dry.

1/2 cup vital wheat gluten

1/2 cup nutritional yeast flakes

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

1/4 cup soy milk

2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking

Instructions:

Mix all of the ingredients into a bowl then shape into small balls. Place some flour on a plate then roll each of the balls until they are completely coated with flour. Add some oil to the air fryer basket, spray it with some non-stick cooking spray before adding some vegan meatballs to it. Cook for about 15 minutes or until browned evenly on all sides.

BBQ tofu skewers

These vegan bbq skewers are extremely easy to make and they're marinated, so their taste is rich. To give them an even more interesting touch, top them with some pine nuts before serving.

1 (14-ounce) block extra-firm tofu, pressed and cut into 1-inch pieces

1/2 cup barbecue sauce of choice

1 teaspoon garlic powder

2 tablespoons olive oil for cooking

Toasted pine nuts to garnish (optional)

Sea salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Mix the barbecue sauce with garlic powder, in a large bowl. Dip tofu pieces in the mixture then lay them out on a plate for marinating. Heat up oil in a skillet then add sautéed garlic over low heat setting. Cook through the tofu skewers, turning them occasionally. Once they are nice and browned, cook for about 3 minutes. Repeat with the remaining tofu squares.

Fried banana bites

These stuffed fried bites are not only delicious but healthy too since they're baked in the air fryer instead of being deep fried in oil.

Ingredients:

2 large bananas

1 cup pancake mix (or flour)

1/2 cup water

Instructions:

Mix the pancake mix with water in a bowl, slowly adding some more water if necessary. Cut each of the bananas into 4 equal parts then stuff them with the mixture you just made.

Dip each stuffed banana bite in pancake mix before placing them in the basket of your air fryer. Cook at 390 degrees for about 10 minutes, flipping them occasionally so they cook evenly on all sides.
