Dawon's Restaurant Review

In the beautiful mountain city of Golden, Colorado, There is an awesome restaurant called Woody's Wood Fired Pizza in beautiful downtown Golden. They don't just serve wood-fired pizza, they also serve wings, burgers, and also salads. I would consider this establishment as a Colorado hidden gem simply because it is also a family-friendly place where they offer an all you can eat pizza, salad, and wings.

Customers can request their favorite toppings on a pizza when they are on the buffet option. If you prefer to not go for their buffet option, they also have a variety of burgers, pasta and salad options. I went there on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty busy. Nevertheless, the service overall was excellent. The servers at my table had a really cool, down to earth personality. They gave me awesome recommendations for food and drink choices.

I sat in an awesome booth next to a family of five with their infant child at the end. I could not help but observe the interaction between the infant and the server at their table. It was a positive and cheeky interaction. I ordered Woody's Hulk Smash burger. This particular burger consists of two beef patties smashed and seared, sauteed onions with bacon, along with mayo, mustard, pickles and melted American cheese. It came with fries and the option to choose onion rings, cole slaw, soup, salad or even sweet potato tots. I chose to have the fries with a Pepsi.

After taking the first bite out of the burger, it was a bit messy at first but it was really good. The fries were really fresh, right out of the fryer and well salted. I continued to eat the burger and fries in its entirety. I also drinked my Pepsi in its entirety and it was really delicious overall. I had an amazing experience at Woody’s and was too full for an order of dessert.

I am very impressed with the unique decorations throughout the entire establishment. I observed the manager walking around the restaurant to make sure customers were well taken care of. She was also checking with her waitstaff to make sure everything went well. I do respect that about the manager and it shows the restaurant itself is a great work environment. After I finished my lunch, I decided to try one of their desserts just to simply pass the time. I ordered the double chocolate brownie with a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It also had a cherry on top so that became the most interesting part of the dish. Once the dish was brought to my table, I took a spoonful of the brownie and dipped it in the ice cream to eat it. I will say that it was really delicious. I enjoyed the warm brownie and ice cream in its entirety. I must say it was really delicious seeing that it was recommended to me by my server. She was right about that dessert! It was really delicious that I was trying my hardest not to lick the chocolate fudge off my fingers but I did it anyway.

My overall experience at Woody’s Wood Fired Pizza was an amazing one at best. The atomsphere was awesome. The entire staff there were really helpful from the person greeting me at the door, to the manager, and to my server. The customer experience is very excellent. The entire establishment was clean from top to bottom. The quality of food is excellent. I give this establishment a 10/10.
