Hilda Baci's Cook-a-thon Extravaganza

Weeks ago, Hilda Baci, a committed cook, presenter and food blogger, gained attention for her ambitious Cook-a-thon. Hilda set out to break the "Longest Cooking Marathon by an Individual" Guinness World Record because she adores Nigerian food and wants to place Nigeria on the culinary world. The previous record, which was established in India, stood at an amazing 87+ hours.

In addition to a group of volunteers, other foodies, and local celebrities, Hilda's Cook-a-thon was held in Lagos, Nigeria. Hilda, armed with a variety of traditional Nigerian recipes, toiled away in the kitchen for an incredible 100 hours without stopping. The country was enthralled by her tenacity and culinary prowess as they anxiously watched her progress on social media.

Hilda encountered many difficulties throughout the event, such as exhaustion, lack of sleep, and the pressure to make a wide range of foods. She persisted, though, thanks to the encouragement from her team and the influx of well wishers from all around the nation. Hilda finally broke the previous record after four days of non-stop cooking. Although she is yet to get officially recognized by Guinness world record, she hopes to get her plaque soonest.

Dammy from Ekiti's controversial attempt

One Dammy from Ekiti state is currently trending online as she is reportedly trying to break a 120 hours record of cooking by an individual.

This has gained a lot of attentions from Nigerians all over the country as many believe it's a wrong timing for her, owing to the fact that Hilda, a Nigerian who recently did hers is yet to get her recognition from Guinness World Record.

Dammy caught wind of the Cook-a-thon trend and felt inspired to make her own attempt at a Guinness World Record. Dammy is allegedly a chef from EKitit who is also based in Ekiti state.

Chef Dammy is trying to break Chef Hilda Baci’s unofficial 100-hour record in the longest cooking category of the Guinness World Record.

Conclusion

The Cook-a-thon craze has swept Nigeria, giving talented people like Hilda Baci and Dammy a stage to display their culinary prowess and pursue their goals of setting Guinness World Records. These outstanding people have not only improved their communities but also helped Nigerian cuisine and inventiveness gain recognition on a worldwide scale.

A new generation of aspiring chefs and food lovers are encouraged to follow their passions, test their boundaries, and leave their mark on the world by the Cook-a-thon craze.
