Elegant Dishes make with leftovers

Elegant dishes are often created with expensive ingredients, but they don’t have to be expensive to taste great. In fact, a lot of the time you can use leftovers to create elegant meals that can leave your dinner guests feeling satisfied and sophisticated without breaking the bank. Here are three elegant dishes you can make using leftover ingredients from your kitchen, along with tips on how to save them in the first place.
1) How to Make Turkey Lasagna
Layer half of the cooked noodles on the bottom of a 9x13-inch casserole dish. Add a layer of the leftover chopped turkey, followed by sauce, and then one more layer of noodles. Layer with cheese. Spread lasagna with bread crumbs and top with a few pieces of butter or margarine. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes, until bubbly and browned on top. Remove from oven and let stand 10 minutes before serving. Serve with your favorite side dishes!

It’s so easy to make turkey tacos with leftovers: Toss a pound of ground turkey in the slow cooker with salsa, canned tomatoes, chipotle peppers in adobo sauce, onion powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Cook on low for six hours or high for three hours. Let cool slightly before shredding it into bite-sized pieces and use as you would any taco filling (corn tortillas are our favorite). Slice some red cabbage thin enough to roll up in a spring roll wrapper. To assemble: Lay cabbage out flat lengthwise like an accordion.
2) Salmon Quiche
Salmon quiche is a tasty breakfast or brunch dish that can be made with leftover salmon and eggs. You'll also need to gather some other ingredients for this recipe including milk, cream cheese, green onions, heavy cream, flour, butter, salt and pepper. It might take some time to cook this dish but the reward will be an ultra-tasty treat.

Oh, we forgot one last thing: there are tons of ways to make salmon quiche! How about a berry flavored topping or sun-dried tomatoes? It's really up to you so get creative with your flavors and experiment with different ingredients like coconut milk instead of cream cheese. The sky is truly the limit with food (and life) so never settle for what everyone else is doing and create something completely original!
3) Saucy Shrimp Bites
Saucy Shrimp Bites are a twist on traditional shrimp cocktail with the added benefit of being a hot appetizer. And if you're wondering what's so elegant about that, it can be prepared ahead of time and served straight from the oven. If you need this dish to feed more people, just cut the serving size in half and put them back in the oven to warm them up.

As always, don't skimp on topping these bad boys with Old Bay Seasoning because without it they would be less saucy. A great recipe for leftover vegetables is Vegetable Soup. It doesn't matter how much you have left over, it will come out delicious! All you have to do is chop all your vegetables into small pieces and add enough water or broth to cover them by an inch or two then bring the soup to a boil then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Serve hot with some crusty bread.
