Christmas will be here before you know it, so start putting up your decorations and baking! Baking is one of the most pleasurable aspects of the holiday season. You can enlist the help of everyone in your family. During the holidays, chocolate treats are especially popular. Because it's the holidays, don't worry about overindulging in these scrumptious delicacies. You might want to make dieting a New Year's resolution. Let's have a party until then!

We've gathered our favourite 12 chocolate Christmas desserts from user-submitted recipes. We have kid-friendly frozen treats as well as adult favorites like whiskey cupcakes. My particular favorite is the Ferraro Rocher chocolate cake with nutella ganache. Delicious!

1. Peanut Butter Chocolate Balls...

These kid-friendly sweets are incredibly easy to prepare. Simply combine the peanut butter, butter, and powdered sugar in a mixing bowl until a dough forms. Make tiny balls out of it and dip them in melted chocolate. After a heavy meal, these would be the ideal dessert to serve with coffee and tea. If you or a loved one is allergic to peanuts, use soy nut butter instead of peanut butter.

2. Compost-based toffee...

This toffee may be used to make almost any treat, and it will still be delicious. This chocolate dish is easy to make and always delicious. Add a dab of vanilla essence to the boiling toffee just before pouring. This will help bring out the flavors even more. Toppings such as pretzels, candy canes, and dried fruit can be used to decorate the chocolate. They're known as compost toffee because you can pour all your pantry odds and ends on them.

3. S'mores Bars That Don't Have to Be Baked...

These frozen chocolate treats are perfect for desserts for kids. These are easy to make and would be a great activity for your children to do. Yogurt, chocolate, and heavy cream form the base, which is then topped with marshmallows and graham crackers for texture and flavor. Any type of yogurt, including plain, can be used.

4. Sacher Torte (Sacher Torte) (Sacher Torte is a German dessert)...

Rather than baking powder, yeast is used as a rising agent in this cake. The sponge is light and fluffy as a result. The filling is made using apricot jam, although any jam can be used in its place. One of my favorite flavors is raspberry. The garnish is melted chocolate. If this is too tough for you, make a ganache using equal parts cream and chocolate.

5. Chocolate Molten Cakes...

These lovely cakes appear simple at first glance, but the secret filling is a pleasant surprise when you cut into them. Because the middle of these cakes remains raw, they act as "lava." These cakes are a fantastic treat to serve to your guests. It can be difficult to keep them together once they've been baked. Move them with care, and don't forget to coat the pan with extra nonstick spray.

6. Ferrero Rocher Chocolate Cake...

The combination of hazelnuts and chocolate is the star of this amazing cake. Crushed Ferrero Rochers , Lindt chocolate, and whipped cream are mixed into the filling. Nutella and extra whipping cream are used to make the ganache. It may not be a pretty cake, but the flavor will blow you away.

7. Brownies with Chocolate Pudding...

These brownies are made with a packet of chocolate pudding. This helps to keep them moist and tasty. Using multiple flavors of pudding packages will result in some intriguing and wonderful desserts. I'm thinking of butterscotch blondies. Your kids will have a lot of fun helping you make this simple treat.

8. Chocolate Cake from Sweden...

This decadent Scandinavian chocolate cake will add a unique touch to your dinner table. The sole ingredients are chocolate, eggs, sugar, butter, and flour. As a result, the recipe author refers to it as a "sex cake," which is a wonderful substitute. The icing sugar stenciling on top further enhances the cake's splendor.

9.Whiskey Chocolate Cupcakes...

1/2 cup whiskey is used in the batter for this mature cupcake. If you're giving dessert to kids, leave off the alcohol and use a flavor extract instead. This would be a great place to use orange or mint. Consider putting a whiskey frosting on top if you're all adults and want an extra kick.

10.Idle Hand Bars...

These delicious bars are the perfect balance of salty and sweet. Cut them into small pieces for your visitors because they're very rich. The chocolate in the recipe is topped with a sprinkling of pink Himalayan salt. Because this is a rare ingredient, check for it in specialist food stores. This salt is delicate and not overpowering, unlike regular table salt.

11. Brownies with Chocolate...

The inside of these brownies is ooey gooey, while the outside is crunchy. They're the ideal brownie for ice cream topping. Hazelnuts are used to give flavor and texture to the dish. The combination of chocolate and hazelnut is a match made in heaven. Make sure you bake extra brownies since they'll disappear quickly!

12. S'mores Chocolate Pie...

A chocolate custard serves as the foundation for this delicious pie. Its goal is to provide a complete chocolate flavor with no additional components. To enhance the flavor, try adding nut extracts, liqueurs, or citrus zest. The pie is then covered with little marshmallows and broiler-baked. As a result, you'll have a delicious and toasted dessert that everyone will adore.
