Wild Thingz Skin Food Review a Total Disappointment

Why this skincare product failed to meet expectations and left me completely unimpressed after using it regularly.

I have ordered plenty of things online over the years skincare, haircare, handmade soaps and most of the time, the experience is smooth. But one recent purchase from a brand called Wild Thingz Skin Food turned into something I’d rather forget. It started with excitement and ended with disappointment, wasted money, and a lesson I won’t forget anytime soon.

It Looked So Promising

When I first landed on their website, I thought I’d found a small beauty brand worth supporting. The pictures were colorful, the descriptions talked about natural ingredients, and everything looked freshly made. So, on MAY 5, 2025, I placed an order for two products Tropical Oasis Conditioning Bars and Natural Deodorant for Sensitive Skin.

The order number was #1343552, and I made the purchase from Los Angles, Payment went through smoothly, and I received a quick confirmation email. Everything looked legitimate, and I was honestly excited to try their products.

Weeks Passed, Still Nothing

After that first email, there was complete silence. I waited for a shipping notice or a tracking number, but nothing ever came. A week went by, then two, then three. I finally decided to contact their support team through the email listed on their website.

My first message was ignored.

The second time, I finally got a short reply saying, “Your order will ship soon.” That was it no apology, no explanation, no details.

Another week passed, and still no package. By now, it was clear something wasn’t right.

I Asked for a Refund No Reply

After nearly a month of waiting and getting nowhere, I wrote to them again and requested a refund. That message also went unanswered. I tried messaging their social media pages, hoping someone might respond there, but there was no luck. At that point, I started to feel cheated. I mentioned that I might take formal action if the issue wasn’t resolved, and only then did something finally happen though not what I expected.

Late Delivery, Awful Quality

A few days later, a small brown box showed up at my door. It didn’t have a return label, and the packaging looked sloppy. When I opened it, I immediately knew something was wrong. The conditioning bars were discolored and had a strange, unpleasant smell nothing like what was advertised. The Natural Deodorant for Sensitive Skin smelled even worse, almost unbearable. The products looked like they’d been sitting somewhere for months.

The texture, color, and scent were all completely off. I wouldn’t even consider using them on my hair or skin. The quality was nothing close to what was promised online.

No Support, No Accountability

After seeing the state of the products, I reached out again to report the issue and request a refund or replacement. They never responded. I sent multiple follow-up emails and even commented politely on one of their posts, but it was ignored. It became clear that their customer service wasn’t just slow it was nonexistent. Once they had my payment, they disappeared. No updates, no help, nothing.

A Lesson Learned the Hard Way

The whole situation left me frustrated. I had placed my trust in what seemed like a small, eco-friendly business trying to make a difference, and instead, I ended up feeling completely let down. I wasn’t upset only about losing money it was the lack of honesty and communication that bothered me the most.

This experience taught me a few hard lessons about buying from new online shops:

  • Don’t rely only on how professional a website looks.
  • Always check independent reviews before placing an order.
  • Avoid paying in advance unless the store is well-known or verified.
  • Test their customer service with a simple question before ordering.

If a company doesn’t respond before they have your money, they probably won’t respond after either.

What I Wish They’d Done Differently

It wouldn’t have taken much to make things right. A simple update, a refund, or even a sincere apology would have gone a long way. Mistakes can happen in any small business, but ignoring customers completely destroys trust. If the people behind Wild Thingz Skin Food ever come across this, I hope they understand how damaging this kind of experience can be. Customers expect basic communication, decent product quality, and a sense of responsibility. None of those things were present here.

Final Words

My order , turned into one of the worst online purchases I’ve ever made. From delays and silence to poor-quality products and zero support, it was a total disappointment. I’m sharing this story to help others avoid the same mistake. Online shopping can be great, but only if the business respects its customers. Always verify a company’s background, and don’t assume professionalism from appearances alone. This experience may have cost me money and time, but it taught me to be far more careful about where I shop next.
