The Warrior's Legacy
A story of those who never die

Often, we don't understand the effort certain people make to improve our lives. These people are usually our parents, uncles, and grandparents. They sacrifice their lives to improve the lives of those they believe are important.
These warriors lift us up, place us on their shoulders so we can see that world hidden from our eyes; they reveal it to us, they give it to us.
Warriors of Life who possess neither armor nor shields; but rather a heart full of faith and work, willing to give everything for what they believe is right.
And why do I mention their shoulders? These noble beings never had the opportunity for anyone to give them a better vision of reality, but they believed and fueled their projects with hope. Fearing that future generations would have their own limited vision, they lifted them onto their shoulders, and from that moment on, whoever stood there could contemplate a completely new horizon. No matter the Warrior's size, whoever stood on his shoulders would always behold an enthusiastic horizon, eagerly awaiting them, their projects and ideas. The Warrior would never be able to see these new paths from his height, but without him, we wouldn't be able to either.
And I say with pride, my grandparents belong to this sect of Warriors. Tireless fighters, always attentive to everything, with their gaze upward, as if trying to reach these new horizons.
But this lineage of 21st-century Warriors doesn't contain just one person. They bear the weight of hundreds of people on their shoulders, hundreds of "Observers of a New Horizon."
They pass on their knowledge, they teach: "Life always was and always will be hard. But with dedication, faith, and knowing what one wants, man can make the impossible possible."
His mind is a school, his spirit, that of a fighter. He will never stop passing on his knowledge; he loves to teach.
For thousands of years, man has wanted, above all things, to be remembered, and he has tried in hundreds of ways: monumental feats, epic constructions, incredible wars, impossible romances, inventing unimaginable beasts, angels, and demons.
I believe that man is Infinite; memory is powerful, but it will not last for all eternity. However, what is transmitted, the teaching… that is Immortal! The Persian Wars between the Greeks and Persians will be forgotten, but the Theorem created by Pythagoras of Samos… is Immortal, because it is transmitted in the Teaching.
Because they move from mouth to mouth, teaching never dies, because they are passed on from generation to generation. The Warrior is Eternal, because his teachings will endure in the minds of all those who receive his experiences.
He passes on everything he knows to his apprentices, all those he initially carried on his shoulders. He's not just creating men with a broad worldview, he's raising Titans of the Legacy.
Titans who learned everything they could from the Warrior, and now, they no longer have to rest on our warrior's shoulders. He feels more relieved, but he also feels a great emptiness. Those people he watched grow and become men are now able to stand on their own two feet.
But he's proud of them. They're a part of him, because they carry his wisdom within them. Now, they will pass on his advice and experiences to new young Titans, place them on their shoulders, and thus they too will become Warriors of Life. And so, The Legend of the Titan, the Warrior's Legacy... Will Be Immortal.
