Siblings are the only enemy you can't live without.
No Place Like Home
Just the three of us. We had celebrated Christmas Eve together the day before, my husband, my younger son, my older son and daughter-in-law, and their 3-month-old son. They lugged the car seat, diaper bag, and bottles inside, along with a few other odds and ends. We had set aside other essentials for them to take back with them, and I Aunt Bethany’d some of their Christmas presents by wrapping up everyday things we were giving them like shop towels and Advil. I overdid the baking and 14 tins of assorted cookies were filled. Jars and bowls had candy and chocolate-covered pretzels. Their stockings overflowed. I made arroz con picadillo for an early dinner and eggnog pie

Sweet Memories
In the core of a clamoring city, in the midst of the transcending high rises and the perpetual murmur of metropolitan life, dwelled a gathering of four uncommon people: Aryan, Areba, Nisha, and Villon. Limited by a rugged obligation of kinship, they shared innumerable giggling filled minutes, genuine discussions, and remarkable undertakings.

I Love You More
Dear Mommy, From the day you brought me into this world, you have surrounded me with love. You’ve always said that we “don’t pick our families!” (mostly after I’ve gotten into an argument with my brothers) but I’m sure happy that I was picked to be yours! You’ve raised four outstanding boys on your own and still managed to challenge yourself to accomplish anything you’ve put your mind to. You’ve inspired not only myself, but everyone that comes in contact with you to be kind, work hard, & share love.

The coolest person I know . Content Warning.
I Point in, you’re hilarious and great at tasks that takes patience. But, you don’t do anything for money or attention. You keep what you make to yourself unless a family member needs a cake for a party, then you put on that apron and go to town for a simple, “thank you.” Everyone tells you to create businesses and you’re like, “Nah. I want to work at a school.” That’s pretty cool y’know? To have things in this world that just makes you smile and to be okay with that being all there is to them.

AR Rahman Faces Backlash for Controversial Divorce Hashtag
AR Rahman Faces Backlash Over " #ArrSairaaBreakup" Hashtag in Divorce Post Legendary music composer AR Rahman recently courted online controversy with a post in which he used the hashtag #ArrSairaaBreakup discussing divorce and privacy. He compared the new x-privacy law which was initiated to ensure that people, especially celebrities, were given the right to privacy in sensitive matters. What could have been a healthy reminder of discretion was soon hijacked by negative reactions, accusations of insensitivity, and other personal attacks as people lost sight of what he was saying.

Tales of Hearth
The wind howled outside, shaking the loose windowpane in a way that sounded suspiciously like a goose honking in distress. Inside, the scene could not have been more different. A fire crackled in the old stone hearth, its warmth stretching lazily across the room like a sleepy cat. A pot of spiced cider simmered on the stove, filling the air with the smell of cinnamon and nostalgia.

Looking Back and Planning Ahead
Last Christmas was nothing short of wonderful, though it didn’t start that way. I was so preoccupied with work—long hours, endless emails, and tight deadlines—that December crept up on me. It wasn’t until I stumbled across a box of old decorations while cleaning that it hit me: I missed our family Christmases. I missed the warmth, the laughter, and the way everything used to feel so simple and connected.
