siblings
Siblings are the only enemy you can't live without.
Fitting in.
We were all in the kitchen at night time, Tanner (oldest bro), Erin (oldest sis), KT (twin sis), and I. I’m pretty sure this was during some sort of family gathering because why else would the kids be hiding away in the kitchen? So like usual Tanner comes up with a game. He probes Erin on the idea that it would be a laughing riot if they tried to fit one of the twins into the oven. Erin agrees, grinning in her multicolor braces. By this time in Erin’s life, she truly didn’t care if Tanner tormented us. She was considered our full time babysitter, a role put on her by our parents without refusal so of course she had a vindictive spirit. Also, Tanner had once tormented her so it was nice to have the roles reversed.

I Wish I Was A Twin. Top Story - November 2021.
You may not believe it, but I remember sitting on those steps next to those rocks. I remember plunking those rocks into a puddle of water and my mother having to fish them out because that puddle of water was in the middle of the road in a little residential neighborhood in Poteet, Texas, about 45 minutes southwest of San Antonio.

A Letter To My Sister
Dear Sister(AS and HS), Life has always been awesome with you on my side. Growing with you has always been a blessing. Various factors led to us staying far from each other and meeting just once or twice a year. In spite of this distance, our bond has grown stronger and stronger with each passing day. As a family, we have become more understanding. The time is not far when all our financial problems will vanish and we could finally stay happy together.

A Good Sister is a Great Friend
School pictures were like final exams for your face. They went on your permanent record. Back when good cameras were rare and film unpredictable, a “professional” school picture was the most reliable barometer of who you were and what you wore, albeit a stiff formal portrait version of yourself.

Number1 = Number2
To speak of truth is the pure mathematician’s genius. However, the flawed mathematical genius could manage only a subset of the purest of maths, we shall call them Number2. The subset of mathematics we shall call Logic of which they were a master. One would think that their brother, also a genius, however one who could talk to animals like Dr Dolittle, would as being older be a greater man than Number2. We shall call them Number1, and I shall offer the premise that they were in fact equal.

Brothers & Blood
BROTHERS & BLOOD DAY 1, I didn't want to move to Belton Texas in 1971, in fact I hated the idea. Why, why do I have to move? I was quite content go to Rancier Jr. High. I knew most everybody there, my friends that I went to elementary school with were there. I played sports there, I was running track, I was happy. But no, daddy had to buy land in the Belton school district where we built our house and because they get money for every kid in their school district they were hot on my dad's ass to put me in Belton school.
