5 Tips to Encourage your Children to Sleep on Time.
It's eleven o'clock before midnight, and the light in your teen's room is still on. He hasn't slept yet... Tomorrow is a normal school day. And if you do a quick math, if your child sleeps now, he'll get less than 6.5 hours of sleep, before he wakes up and is ready to go to school.

Carline Thoughts
Are you ever in the shower, and a random thought smacks you in the face? For instance, for me the other day it was best friends kissing the guy you liked? All of a sudden each devastating scenario popped up like a whack a mole. Or am I the only forty-year-old nut job running each time I walked up on a bestie macking down with my crush through my already stressed-out brain?

Are you Raising your Parents?
I love my Mum. She raised me against a sea of challenges growing up. From my father choosing to walk out on us before I could walk to hiding food to ensure that I was able to eat. My Mum is an inspiration alongside many other Mums around the world but that does not stop me from wondering if I am raising her?

A Day For Intimate Family Love
The grieving mother of the Palestinian poet Mahmoud Darwish took bread and coffee for her son in the occupation’s prisons, hoping that would relieve him, but the occupation authorities prevented her, so the mother repeated the attempt and pleaded with the soldiers, not desperate, until they allowed her to see her son, whom she embraced as a small child while crying. After her departure, he wrote this poem for her and put it under the title "Apology" because he thought that his mother did not love him. These were the words that came out from behind the bars of the occupation in 1965, and turned into one of the most famous Arab Mother's Day songs.

relationship between mother and son
I'm a solitary parent of a child I have raised without help from anyone else since he was 4. He's an agreeable, composed undergrad and Division I competitor; he has a beautiful sweetheart with whom he goes to school out of state. In the no so distant past, while he was home for a little while and his better half was the nation over visiting her family, I was welcome to the wedding of a work companion. Since the greeting offered me an in addition to one-it even said "bring the family!"- I requested that my child go along with me.

Am I the asshole for insisting we put my 8-month-old baby in a French immersion daycare?
Am I the asshole for insisting we put my 8-month-old baby in a French immersion daycare? I, 30 years old female insisted to put my son, 8 months old in a French immersion daycare even though my husband, 38 old male thinks it is not important that we raise him bilingual. My husband is a skilled worker and a high school graduate while I am a teacher who studied the English language and who English is her second language. This baby, let’s call him Kai, is our first child and he is always fighting me about every little decision and seems to think he knows best about everything.

Prestige of Dowry
“NO! PLEASE… I want to stay with my husband… Oh… Please don’t do this to me for the sake of my kids… They won’t be able to stay without their father … PLEASE stop…” She was screaming out loud, begging helplessly with a baby girl of about 6 months and a three years old boy behind her. Both the kids were watching everything with an astonishment in their eyes not knowing what was happening and why their mother was weeping. A middle aged lady was dragging that poor soul out from her room through the TV lounge towards the main door of the house. Everyone else including her husband was standing silently, unresisting and with frowned face.

The Wall
I have closely followed Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Silently, I have wondered if this invasion will lead to the next world war. However, I am impressed by the sense of patriotism I'm witnessing. Ukrainians have returned home to defend their country. It would take a great deal of courage for someone to leave a safe home and give your life for your fellow countryman.
