Happy Birthday Flowers For Your Loved one
Roses and flowers can be used for an extended period to express our love and sincerity toward those we care about. Selection will always be a challenge that a person must keep in mind, or bouquet is according to the recipient's will. There is no comparison of feeling when someone gives you flowers or bouquets; it always feels tremendous, either receiving or giving.

If These Walls Could Talk.
Everybody knows the old saying, “A home is a man’s castle”. Our homes bring us sanctuary, peace, comfort. Unfortunately, many have felt the opposite at times within their domicile. At times, it can feel like a prison. I think it’s safe to say, during quarantine, many of us truly felt that our homes were confining walls and claustrophobic prisons. The same sights, day in and day out, aggravating holed up minds and bodies.

How to put together a challenging project
I’m here again, laying in bed, watching tv and looking at the ceiling. The fan is not on this time. Kinda cool for the staying of summer. My mind wonders about a project I wanted to do for my son. A legacy for him to keep and proudly show it to his family and why not- his wife’s family. I wanted to write a book where nice, attracting characteristics of an specific area where known, and why not the well known ones. It is going to be something different. A family tree inspired. It didn’t include the usual tree or those plain boring excel type graph format.

Thrift Store Bliss
Off to the local Salvation Army Thrift Store to donate three large cardboard boxes bulging over with quality and useable clothing for some new person or persons to purchase and enjoy. Wow does it feel amazing to free up our bedroom closet from excess clothing that we just do not have all the room for, nor do we no longer need so many pieces of clothing.

The Hands of My Mother
The hands of my Mother, and those of my Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, were never still. Gardening, canning, sewing clothes, quilting and crocheting, among all the mundane tasks, meant that every day needs were met. It also meant beauty, comfort and contentment, scattered throughout the days making the memories that are a part of the fabric of who I am.

A Girl, A Pair of Scissors, & A Legacy of Joy
I’ve been collecting, cutting, and creating for as long as I can remember. And, my pair of Fiskars scissors have been with me since nearly the beginning of my crafting tenure—no, really. I still use the Fiskar scissors I used in elementary school, and they’ve never let me down. For over 30 years (and counting), this little pair of scissors has cut everything from yarn, fabric, thread, embroidery floss, and Aida cloth to paper, vinyl, and various substrates.

Cardboard Creations
My passion is creating imaginative play systems from cardboard and found objects with my children. I believe the most important attributes I can foster in my children are the confidence to access and share their creativity, as well as a deep, inner knowing that all things are possible with a willingness to try.
