Not the Fabric Scissors
“Not my fabric scissors.” Shlink “I’m not kidding.” Shl— I put them down, but not before rolling my eyes. How did she know I’d grabbed those exact scissors? And who cares if I used fabric scissors to cut paper? They are scissors. There is no difference between scissors. They’re scissors.

A Mother's Love
05/28/21 A Mother’s Love The Golden Heart In the year of 1968, you were just living your life the best that you knew how. You began feeling a little strange in your body one day. You noticed that your appetite had increased tremendously and you didn’t know why. You are very young, beautiful inside and out, and full of life. You began to crave for certain foods especially a Pepsi Cola and salty peanuts. You were truly talented and carried the gift of golden love in your heart. You knew in your heart that you needed to go to the Doctor because you were feeling very uncomfortable in your body. The Doctor examined you and then you knew about me. “Yes, I am having another baby”, you thought to yourself.

The Juggernaut
I'm going to start this off a little corny so bear with me. Once upon a time, there was a little boy born into this world. The little boy was naturally a shy, timid creature. He was not born with the temperament for battling and fighting. The little boy was born with a natural artistic ability and could sing, draw, paint, and create all sorts of things from clay and other materials simply from his imagination. His imagination was very strong. The little boy was also born with the gift to learn and craved to know things. Learning came very easily to this little boy because he had a little camera in his head that could take pictures of anything he could later pull up to look at when he needed, and he had a little tape recorder in his head that recorded everything he heard and he could go back and replay the tapes anytime he needed or wanted to hear what he heard again. The little boy was born for creating things, not fighting.

9 Best YouTube Channels for Preschoolers
Do you find yourself handing that tablet or turning on the TV for your preschooler while you get some work done? Well, no judgment here. Staying locked at home without school or friends is tough for the little ones as well.

Drowning in Lentil Soup
DROWNING IN LENTIL SOUP If my brother is in my Mother's stomach, then where does the lentil soup go? My Mother had just finished her bowl of hot soup, and I was staring at her swollen stomach. With each spoonful of soup, she ate, I winced, thinking of my baby brother swimming for dear life in that cauldron called her stomach.

Liv and Vik Versus the Boomer Bears from Space
Kids love to tell stories. Sometimes, those stories are a little weird. That's why I have started the Weird Kids series. If you submit your kids' story ideas to [email protected] you will see them featured here with credit for the storyline! I hope to one day turn this into a business!

To The Ben's of The World
From an eagle's perspective, it was a perfect location. The greenery of a field deep forest tree surrounding a lake with a man-made bridge. From a child's perspective, it was an adventure playground. And from my perspective, well it started off pleasant...

Childhood Room
Childhood Room (Re Write) Radio Times Radio Times. It was not that late , I was huddled up in my bottom bunk , covers , quilt pulled up tight up over my head. One ear on the pillow and a small creamed coloured ear piece in the other. This time was my time , just the warmth of my bed and my little blue , battery driven , manually tuned radio. This radio was my window on the world. A world that could not be manipulated, a world that conjured up image after imagined image, filling my head with visions of the world. Introducing my young self to culture, language and all the different jarrahs of music. I have brought the radio from an old Electrical appliance shop in Lowestoft. I had saved up the £10 over a year, birthday money , pocket money, corona bottle money. Corona bottles were a brilliant way to find money. Three pence per bottle retrieved and returned to the newsagents. I would scrawler the building sites around our house, especially in the summer. The builders plasterers, carpenters, roofers would all discard the empty bottles. Three pence not much for an empty bottle for them, to me it all added up and helped to make my first large purchase.

I Didn't Have The Average Mom
I know you are expecting a story about how my amazing mother influenced and raised me but this won’t be exactly that. Yes, my mom did influence me but to go in the opposite direction as her. I will give you a brief background before I fill in the blanks. My sister was born shortly after I turned 2 years old and just a few months after her birth my mom gave both my sister and I to my dad to be raised. She did this because she was 18 years old, not ready to be a mother, and wanted to experience and enjoy her life.

Zephyr Mother
I was lucky enough to be raised by many of the goddesses themselves. My aunt Natalie, goddess of the earth, my aunt Jodie, goddess of the water, my aunt Ruth, goddess of reason, and my grandma Linda, goddess of compassion. While I cannot attribute my incredible childhood to one single individual, my mother not only created a perfect life for my sister and me but blew sunflower seeds onto the soil we grew out of, turning our faces to the sun.

Summertime
Ah, the many sounds of Summertime are here. I have so many wonder memories of Summertime. The first is that I didn't have to wake up early to catch the bus to school anymore. I could sleep in as late as I wanted to and do what I want to do without a teacher to teach me.
