Motherhood is not just about the birth moment... it’s the beginning of a new life filled with challenges, joy, and tears. The moment of birth for me was completely different from what I had imagined. Suddenly, I found myself in an entirely new world, full of responsibilities, demands, and most importantly, unconditional love.

In the moment of birth, my body was exhausted, and I felt like I was completely worn out. But as soon as I saw my baby’s little eyes, all my pain seemed to vanish as if nothing had ever happened. The moment she was born marked the beginning of a new life, one I didn’t fully realize at first.

But soon enough, I discovered that motherhood is not just a single moment, it’s a long journey full of changes, challenges, and moments you never expect. I thought motherhood would come easily, but I realized I had so much to learn. At first, I felt like I was in a state of chaos and confusion, losing myself every day.

The Changes that Surprised Me:

I thought I was ready for what was to come, but I wasn’t. My body had completely changed after childbirth, and everything I knew about myself had suddenly shifted. I was facing challenges in caring for my baby, and at times, I needed help, but asking for it was hard.

Physical Changes:

I felt like I lost a part of myself, my body changed in ways I never imagined. From weight changes to physical appearance, and even the exhaustion that never left me.

The New Daily Routine:

Every day brought new challenges. Sleep was minimal, and moments of rest were rare. The feeling of exhaustion was always there, but I had no choice but to push forward.

Feeling Guilty:

At times, I felt guilty for not being the perfect mother. I couldn’t give everything I thought I should, and that affected me emotionally.

However, despite these challenges, I wasn’t alone. There were unforgettable moments of tenderness, small moments, but they made me feel like I was achieving something great.

The Moments That Saved Me:

The First Time I Held My Baby:

It was an indescribable feeling. My body was tired, but when I looked at her, I felt an inner peace, as though I had found myself in that moment.

The First Time She Laughed at Me:

Nothing brought more happiness than hearing her little laugh, even during the most exhausting times. Her laugh gave me the strength to keep going.

The First Time She Slept in My Arms:

It was an extraordinary moment, a moment of complete connection between me and my baby. My life became filled with hope and energy, even if it was in small, simple moments.

The First Time I Felt My Husband’s Support:

Moments of emotional and moral support from my husband became a hidden strength that allowed me to endure more. He wasn’t just a "father"; he was a true partner in everything.

The Big Lesson:

During the first months of motherhood, I learned that nothing in life comes easily. Motherhood is not always about absolute happiness, but about struggle and love at the same time. I learned that no mother is perfect, and it’s normal to sometimes feel lost.

But I also learned that the most important thing is to remember that we love our children with all of us, even when motherhood requires more effort than expected. And this is the love that makes everything worthwhile.

My Advice to Any New Mother:

Take Your Time:

It’s normal to need some time to adjust. Don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it.

Respect Yourself:

Your body has changed, but that doesn’t mean you are any less. Treat yourself with kindness and love.

Love Your New Self:

Motherhood comes with many changes, but in the end, you are an amazing mother, no matter what.

Be Honest with Yourself:

Don’t try to be perfect, because perfection is not the goal—enjoy every moment.

Conclusion:

Motherhood is a journey full of challenges, but it’s also full of beautiful moments. Don’t think you’re alone, because we all go through similar experiences. Don’t give too much weight to what others say about the "perfect mother", because you are the perfect mother in your own way
