It is easy for me, a kid who was constantly beat up, constantly the ass of everyone’s jokes, constantly the center of attention negatively to sit here and not give two 💩💩 about the times we live in. It is easy for me to be in self isolation, because for the first time in my life, I have be allowed to live in true peace. For the first time in my life, I have not awaken in panic; for the first time in my life, I have not had to mentally prepare myself for battle, No. No. No... My Mornings now are filled with excitement, with a positive outlook, accompanied by anticipation of what I can accomplish today.

And your bed- slightly warm against my back, and my hands were always in yours, and you’d nestle in my neck, too,- and your record player would sit on the cabinet beside us, where you would always play such soft music.

Pomegranate Seeds And Hardened Dirt
The dirt from the backyard of Guillermo's aunt Silvia's house was holistic and dense. It was hard to break apart and wasn’t mixing well with the water he had brought out in a coffee mug. Guillermo wanted to sculpt a small mud castle for his abuelita, or grandmother. Right before he started online schooling, Guillermo's art teacher was teaching the kids ceramics using mud. Guillermo had sculpted a turtle, which his teacher then baked in an oven to harden. Guillermo now wanted to sculpt a castle for his abuelita.
