The Origin of Rain in the Qur'an The Holy Qur’an contains several verses about the process of rainfall. In Surah An-Nur, Allah says: “Do you not see that Allah drives the clouds, then joins them together, then makes them into a heap, and you see the rain come forth from within them?” — (Deuteronomy 24:43) This verse is a clear explanation of how rain is formed.
