Engage and Track: Whether you're sharing content as a Community Influencer, referring startups as a Startup Advocate, or hosting challenges as a Community Builder, remember to add your Contributor ID to track your contributions and progress.
Community Influencers:
Community Influencers are the digital trailblazers, harnessing the power of social media and content creation to drive engagement and foster learning. By sharing Microsoft content and attracting audiences, they play a pivotal role in spreading knowledge and inspiring others.
Utilize Eligible Microsoft URLs with Contributor IDs:
Community Influencers have the opportunity to track their impact by adding their Contributor ID to eligible Microsoft URLs. This ensures that unique visitors who land on pages from these sites through their shared links will be reflected in their count. These eligible sites include:
Azure.Microsoft.com
Cloudblogs.Microsoft.com
Code.Visualstudio.com
Devblogs.Microsoft.com
Developer.Microsoft.com
Learn.Microsoft.com
Social.Msdn.Microsoft.com
Social.Technet.Microsoft.com
Startups.Microsoft.com
Techcommunity.Microsoft.com
Understanding Unique Visitors:
Unique visitors are individuals who have not previously visited a specific page. Once they visit a page, they are no longer considered unique. For instance:
A visitor is unique the first time they visit https://learn.microsoft.com/credentials
Subsequent visits to the same page by the same visitor do not count as unique.
For example, imagine Sarah, a Community Influencer, shares a link to a Microsoft Learn module on AI fundamentals on her social media platforms. By adding her Contributor ID to the link and encouraging her followers to explore the module, Sarah not only engages her audience but also tracks her impact on unique visitor counts.
Contributor ID Example:
Sarah's Contributor ID: ?wt.mcid=studentamb_123456
Startup Advocates:
Startup Advocates are the catalysts for innovation, championing AI-driven startups and connecting them with Microsoft technologies and resources. Through the Founders Hub, they provide startups with access to Azure credits, development tools, and expert mentorship, empowering them to thrive. Consider Alex, a Startup Advocate, referring a promising AI startup to the Founders Hub. By including his Contributor ID in the application, Alex not only supports the startup but also tracks his contributions towards the program's goals.

Community Builders:
Community Builders are the architects of learning communities, hosting Cloud Skills Challenges to engage participants and enhance their skills. By curating learning collections and tracking module completions, they foster a culture of continuous learning and growth. Take Michael, a Community Builder, organizing a Cloud Skills Challenge focused on Azure fundamentals. By adding his Contributor ID to the challenge URL, Michael tracks participant progress and celebrates their achievements.
