Learn another language
When children are growing up, they are at an opportune period to acquire skills which would take an adult decades. So it should be mandatory for preschools and primary schools to be multilingual. The only way to efficiently and effectively reach native level pronunciation is before the age of 14. After that, the brain cannot accurately replicate foreign phonemes without “immersion”. When a young child learns their mother tongue, it doesn’t take much to learn an additional few languages because at their stage of life, the child’s primary job is to learn how to communicate to prepare it for future life. Then the brain will absorb languages which are not part of the same family. On the contrary, for an adult to learn Basque and Korean from their mother tongue Russian, it will be a lifelong journey to fluency. Some will never reach the native level of thinking and pronunciation; many Polynesian languages have barely ten constants, so to learn English, which has almost 50 phonemes, sounds such as “j” [dʒ], “z” [z], “zh” [ʒ] are almost impossible to pronounce. “Luckily” these islands have been thoroughly exploited by the British, and many Polynesians are bilingual with English.

I began studying acting in 2012 but you could say I've been a student of the craft my entire life. I was always a quiet kid. While the rest of the second graders were forming , I was watching and observing from wherever I decided to camp that day. It actually wasn't until maybe fifth grade that I spoke my first word in school. Since then, my fascination with WHY people do the things they do has only grown. So when I discovered acting it was a no-brainer. When my first acting coach suggested I get into the habit of watching other people I almost laughed. The Banned Book Teacher
I don’t remember your name, but I remember every lesson that you taught me. When I was young, I LOVED to write, and I took a notebook and pencil around pretty much everywhere with me. My life at home wasn’t always sweet as apple pie, and by the time I got around to high school I probably had a few more issues than I cared to admit. Adults didn’t like me because I had an “attitude” and other people my age had no interest in me because I was kind of a loner. Throughout my childhood I had moved around a lot, and I never had a group of friends that I grew up with. Suddenly, I found myself in the middle of a community where many of my peers had known each other since kindergarten. To say that I felt like an outsider would be putting it mildly.
