The Spirit Of Elmhurst
Trinity, a Planet belonging to the Glison Star System within the Celliott Galaxy 300,000 Light Years from Planet Earth, once lived a civilization of peace & prosperity, now cursed with an evil presence. Demon Master Elmhurst teleported to the Planet Trinity & began to secretly multiply a dark race of beings. As the race grew, the energy he was channeling throughout the Planet also grew. Determined to destroy all goodness, the Demon Master clashed in battle with the Light Beings (the Celestial Guardians of Celliott) for One Hundred Thousand Years, now his will is being carried out through Trinity. Emerging from the shadows, the Demon continues to disrupt the balance of good & evil. Taken over by the dark entity, he expelled the people of Trinity together with the Light Beings to a place of exile, sealing them all into a separate terrestrial domain outside of this dimension in order to use the Planet as a breeding ground. By channeling his dark energy throughout the Planet, he is able to create entities which are empowered & controlled by his ill magic. Without the Celestial Guardians of Celliott, Elmhurst prepares to bring forth his armies to destroy all that remains. Fortunately, one Light Being was able to break through the dimension & return back to the Planet, bringing with her some other prisoners. They formed a resistance dubbed “The Collective”, their council lies deep below Trinity’s South Pole underneath the City of Celeste (Capital of Nathalia). The Collective (The Trinity Resistance) intend to lay the Demon down to rest, but struggle to overcome the dark entity’s power. All seems hopeless, then out of nowhere an unexpected ally arrives with an interesting common, to banish the dark race from their realm & return Elmhurst back to the Demon Dimension from which he came. Only then will the dark one devour & the spell reverse, allowing the people of Trinity to return back to their Planet & restore the balance of goodness once again. But the armies of Elmhurst continue to grow rapidly & so do their powers. He is planning to wipe out all of Trinity & transform all of Celliott into a controlled fortress of his own. Those who are left behind are faced with the darkness that remains. In the playground of the damned & the wicked, there is no hope for the weak & the vulnerable. Only the strongest hold the chance to survive.
CHAPTER ONE: THE UNDERWORLD.
There weren’t always dragons in the Valley. There weren’t always creatures in the Avenue. Until one day the dimension collapsed, & The Spirit Of Elmhurst found you.
From the oceans of clustered dreams & haunting visions I ascended, relentlessly. Casted upon magnitudes of radiating pain which pulsated & ignited & left me somewhat alive & still apart of this world. My memory shattered like broken glass. Slipping in & out of consciousness, I was entangled between reality & a world beyond.
Although it would be much easier to depict all of the times that I could have tried harder, all of the wrong which I have not yet made right & all of the words I have left unsaid, hidden away inside of me, closed off from the world, from myself. An internal prisoner locked down with shackle & chain, restricted from life, reframed from the light, retrained in the empty darkness trying to fight my way out of a never ending battle. I am sure this imprisonment has damaged my mind. And so once again the darkness surrounds me. Sanity lingers by the thread & the remaining hours are consumed in meditation until the curse lifts. And yet, I had been brought down to that place of banishment once before, nothing good has come from it so far, and should your mind reach that place of judgement, let this be a light that channels your mind.
Submerged deep into an unfamiliar form of consciousness, an unrecognisable frame of mind & an unfathomable train of thought. I could feel my spiritual ariels desperately trying to search for a connection back into the physical realm.
I often marvel at the insignificant complexities in this ridged observation of life & how obscure some in it are. The rules of the universe are listed upon the rainbows in our skies, the fruit that hangs from our trees & the soil we walk upon. But must it be known to us our true purpose? That which is uncertain. Hold in mind, we are all interconnected beings. We are one with ourselves, each other & with the universe. A Stratosphere of consciousness sealed into a plane of existence, this plane of existence, in whichever way you choose to observe it, for however long it takes to fulfill one’s life purpose.
Incredible pain began to flow from my head all the way down to my feet & my body suddenly started to shudder violently.
I have always thought of the body as a precious temple, that which does not live off of this land, but is rather a part of its growth. Used to feel the universe, grow & help us all evolve as spiritual beings. An extension of source energy & of the divine. A vehicle if you will, a boat that gets you from the shore of this life to the shore of the divine life, & that being the only kind of sureness in this life, that you truthfully experience.
My heart then started to work inconstantly, aggressively pulsating, starting & stopping intermediately.
Here, in this multi-dimensional reality, I have discovered an entity whose very existence is entwined with my own far more than I could have ever possibly imagined. Present, yet cannot be seen. Alive, yet not living. Felt, yet cannot be touched. Known, yet unheard of. Extraordinary is it not? How can one be interpreted without a single tangible element to depend on?
I started to feel the blood pumping through my veins & the oxygen in my collapsed lungs suddenly began to rise one air pocket at a time as my closed off throat slowly struggled to pry itself open with intense difficultly.
As our minds real at the implications, the universe lives through us. Quantum Theory, Identical Parallel Universes & various other mathematical & scientific dogmas are often intellectually misconstrued, created by the physical mind, thus restricting our own understanding to the limitations of the physical mind’s capacity. Did the tree fall in the forest if nobody exists to observe it? Many do not see the forest for the trees, & yet, the rabbit hole goes much deeper. As we travel further down that rabbit hole to eternal truth, we discover what has been there all along, before the trees & the forests had ever existed. That which dwells beneath the physical exterior binding us to our true nature. Blocked out by the subtle vastness of our very own physical thought processes. Hidden away in the almost non-existent background. We feel it, we know it. We physically cannot understand it & we physically cannot explain it. Humorous is it not? How one’s life encompasses a mechanism far beyond one’s own psychological capacity.
It was then that I had awoken from my slumber. A warped parody, doomed to walk the Planet as a shadow of its former self. My body ached, my vision blurred, my memory tainted, & all else revolving around me in a spiral like motion.
“Although there is no rest for the wicked, you find yourself at a point in time where you merit rest” whispered an unfamiliar voice which appeared to be coming from above me. “Those thoughts & visions you have been experiencing are not of this world, those wounds on your body however are.”
My mind still having its flaws at that present moment. “Where am I?”
“I stand before you now in an underground fortress one thousand feet below the City of Celeste. Know that you are safe & well hidden.”
As I stood up, feeling the cold stone beneath my feet, fragments of the past began to flood my mind. Nathalia, once a place of peace & prosperity, now turned into a place of filth & evil. “Who am I & what happened to me?”
“Your name is Vuridian. You are a hybrid being living on the Planet Trinity, one of three Planets in the Glison Star System to harbor life. You are one of the greatest minds & strongest warriors in all of Celliott. Before the recent turn of events, you were the President of Nathalia, which is the largest & most influential continent in all of Trinity. You have overthrown thousands of dystopian governments & have restored justice in Trinity time & time again. You introduced The Bill Of Common Law, The Declaration Of Civil Liberties & The Trinity Constitution. You reformed the entire monetary system & repaid all national debt. You were responsible for replacing the old outdated economic system with a resource-based economy. You created case law in the High Courts which was directly responsible for the immediate full disclosure & transparent release of all known hyper-advanced technologies for interstellar trade, commerce & national development. You are an asset to us all Vuridian. Unfortunately, your path of conquest came to an end when you were forced to initiate combat with the Demon Master who has been infiltrating Trinity. For years the Demon has been here, lurking beneath the shadows, unknown to your kind, building his armies & channeling his dark energy throughout the Planet. As the Demon’s power grew, he could no longer stay hidden. He finally revealed himself at last, that is when the battle for Nathalia began. During this battle, your armies were defeated & destroyed by the dark race in which the Demon had created. Then, to your astonishment, with his fowl magic he turned your kind against you. Those remaining were teleported to a place of exile, sealing them all into another terrestrial domain outside of this dimension. You were struck down, defenseless against the Demon, but you were determined to destroy your enemy & continued to fight on. The wars in Nathalia flamed for several years, but you did not prevail. The Demon was too powerful. The battle is now over. Nathalia lies in ruin & the battle for Trinity is about to begin.”
As the painful truth of defeat began to fill my mind, the emotions that accompanied it started to flood my body & soul. “And just who are you?”
“My exterior is unknown to you, but my name is not. I am the Celestial Guardian Of Celliott’s Southern Chapter.”
As my eyes widened, the fine hairs on my neck stood up. Do my ears deceive me? It cannot be. Santos Celliott. The legendary Celestial Guardian of Celliott’s Southern District. How is this occurrence possible? “But Santos is dead. His body crushed into oblivion during battle.”
“Not dead but imprisoned. Imprisoned in the very place your kind had been imprisoned in, but when you chose to battle the demon master of Trinity, you ruptured the pillars of balance causing a tremor throughout the world, adequate enough to cause a rip through the dimension which was sealing us into that place of exile.”
As I looked around the dark & silent fortress, I remembered that we had been engaged in such a battle with this particular entity. Known to the people of Trinity as “Elmhurst”, he portrays an evil the likes of which this world has never seen.
“It was in this way that the spell was momentarily defused & I was able to return back into your world”
My curiosity peaked. “Where then, are the people of Trinity?”
“During the rupture, I was low on lifeforce & only had enough energy to teleport very few Trinity back into Nathalia. After returning to your world, the dimension had closed off & the rest were left behind.”
Though it would take more than a few Trinity to overcome this nightmare, we begun drawing up a plan to end this abomination.
Chapter ending.
