Forest Transformer
A long time ago, in the days when mankind could not preserve fire, there was a hunter whose wife's little brother begged to go hunting with him. When they came to a forest, they saw a macaw's nest in a tree on the edge of a cliff, and the hunter asked his wife's brother to climb the branch to pull out the chicks.

"Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say." The sentence was the fourth or fifth of its kind that I'd received and archived within a few weeks' time -- indirect or roundabout references to old science fiction classics. It was delivered to me by a startling old woman who'd sat herself down on the bench I occupied while waiting for the afternoon express into the old city. She was carrying a large sea green snakeskin handbag that had an over-the-top clasp of golden entwined serpents. A big silvery hairstyle that surrounded her face like an elaborate wire nest. Bulging wrap-around sunglasses that seemed too large for her face.

New Worlds challenge
"Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say." I hate to break it to everyone reading this, but that fact is most certainly wrong. Let me explain. Very few people can say they've been to space, I happen to be one of those people who can say that. My name is Reed, I'm here to share my story. I hope this doesn't deter you from space, but I need to share my first hand experience in space. This story takes place about 6 months ago when I got a call from an old friend.

Short Prince
Once upon a time, two princes wanted to go out into the world to grow up. However, soon after they went out, they lived a corrupt life of squandering money and simply did not want to go home again. Their younger brother - a short, unassuming man - went out to find his two older brothers. When he went through all the trouble to find them, they laughed at him, saying that he was young and ignorant of the world and should find a way to get out and travel around. Thus, the three of them embarked on a journey together.
