A long time ago, in the days when mankind could not preserve fire, there was a hunter whose wife's little brother begged to go hunting with him. When they came to a forest, they saw a macaw's nest in a tree on the edge of a cliff, and the hunter asked his wife's brother to climb the branch to pull out the chicks.

The little brother climbed to the nest and was about to reach for the chicks when the big parrots flew back. They hovered over the little brother's head, emitting a sharp chirping sound, scaring him too much to take a step closer.

The hunter saw all this and cursed in his heart: no good. In his anger, he left his wife and brother on the cliff and went away. In this way, the little brother stayed on the cliff for five days, hungry and thirsty. At that moment, a jaguar came down the cliff. The jaguar said to him: "Come here, I will carry you to drink water!"

The little brother thought for half a day, and finally, hungry and thirsty, he made up his mind to walk to the ground. The jaguar put him on his back and brought him to the river. The little brother drank enough water and fell asleep. When the little one woke up, the jaguar said to him, "I have no children, now you are my adopted son." Then he took him back to his home, which was a big tree cave with a dazzling fire at one end of the tree.

After being the adopted son of a jaguar, the little one often went out hunting with his adoptive father. When they came home, they roasted the prey together and had a comfortable life.

One day, the jaguar said to him: "If you want to return to your tribe, go all the way along the river. However, you have to be careful on the way, if you hear the cliff and the fragrant ay tree call you, you will say yes; if you hear the dead tree fallen on the ground call you, do not answer. Two days later, you can return to your village. At that time, you must teach your people to preserve the fire."

The little brother did as his righteous father said. He kept going, not moving far from the creek. Soon he heard the crag call him, and he returned the call. Soon the voice of the fragrant aye-tree sounded again, and he also answered back. But when the dead tree that had fallen to the ground gently called to him, he forgot what the jaguar had told him and answered aloud as well. This is the reason why human life is so short. However, since the little brother also answered the call of the cliff and the Shannai tree, we can also live as long as they do.

As the little brother walked and walked, the forest was silent. Soon the little brother heard another voice, and he answered as he had done. This time it was the shape-shifting god of the forest who shouted. He blocked the little one's way and asked him, "Who are you looking for?"

"I am looking for my father." The child replied.

  "Am I not your father?"

"No, my father does not look like this, he has long hair."

The shape-shifting god disappeared invisibly, and after a while reappeared in front of his little brother. His hair was long, and he begged to say that the little brother was his son. The little brother would not believe what he said. He remembered that his father still had a long string of small wooden sticks hanging from both ears. The shape-shifting god disappeared invisibly again, and when he came back again, a string of small wooden sticks hung from his ears. But the little guy said nothing to believe. He said that his father was not his appearance in any case.

The shape-shifting god got angry, so he pounced on him and wrestled with him. The little brother was too tired, soon exhausted, unable to fight. So the shape-shifting god put him in a basket, carried on his shoulders, ready to take home.

Halfway home, God of Transformation saw a tree with a group of long-nosed bears. He put the basket on his back on the ground and went to shake the tree. Then, catching a few of the cubs that had fallen, he also put them into the basket containing their little brothers.

Just as he put down the basket, the little brother regained consciousness and said aloud to the shape-shifting god that it would be much easier to walk with the basket if he first stepped out of the way in the woods. Transformation God listened to his words think quite reasonable, they put the basket down, and go to open the road. The little brother quietly crawled out of the basket, and put a big stone under the basket, the long-nosed bears were still covered in it, and the gods unknowingly slipped away.

The shape-shifting god stepped out of the way and returned to the place where he put the basket. The basket was so heavy that it almost broke his back. He had a hard time carrying a basket of things home. As soon as his children saw their father, they immediately surrounded him.

The shape-shifting god said to his children, "I've brought you a funny little guy."

The youngest child dragged a long-nosed bear out of the basket, held it up to his head, and asked, "Is this it?"

  "No!" The shape-shifting god replied.

"Well, is this one?" The child dragged out another one.

  "Neither!"

"But there's just one rock left in there." The youngest son said as he dragged all the long-nosed bears out of the basket. "Oh, it must have gotten lost halfway." The shape-shifting god said.

He went back along the way he came to look for it but found nothing.

By this time, the little brother had returned to his village and told his people about his experience and how he had tricked the shape-shifting god. Finally, he said, "Now let's start a fire in the village, so we can eat fragrant cooked food later."

After a while, the dervish returned to the hall with a clear mind, took his seat at the table, and said, "My lord, now I will look in my book for the place where the gold is hidden."

At that moment, a fifth servant climbed into the fireplace to hear what else the doctor knew. But the doctor sat motionlessly, opened his primer, and turned the pages back and forth, looking for the rooster. Since he couldn't find it for a while, he said, "I know you're right there, so you better come out on your own!"

The dude in the fireplace, mistaking the Doc for him, was so horrified that he jumped out at once, yelling vigorously, "That man is so godlike and omniscient!"

At this point, the all-knowing doctor told the rich man where he had hidden the money, but not who had stolen it, and both sides paid him a fee, and he became a celebrity.
