Menace II Anxiety
promises to teach readers how to turn their eco-anxiety into a superpower. In her introduction, she argues that many of us, herself included, are experiencing “tidal waves of grief, anxiety, pessimism, and existential dread” in response to the climate crisis. We need to learn to reckon with these difficult, often immobilizing emotions to become the eco-activists the world needs at 419 ppm and rising.

What It Will Take to Build a Broad-Based Movement for a Just Transition
In 2020, Washington State passed the Climate Commitment Act, and when it went into effect on January 1, 2022, Rosalinda Guillen was appointed to its Environmental Justice Council. The appointment recognized her role as one of Washington's leading advocates for farmworkers and rural communities.

Can the Defense Production Act Jump-Start a Transition to Renewable Energy?
Clean energy advocates and climate activists are pumped. On June 6, President Biden invoked the Domestic Production Act (DPA) to accelerate the domestic production of five key energy technologies: solar panel parts; transformers and other grid components; heat pumps; building insulation; and the equipment needed to produce clean hydrogen fuel. In tandem, the administration is suspending the tariffs on solar panels that have stalled solar installations here in the United States.

Low-Carbon Diets Are Good for the Planet, and Your Health
For most of human history, sticking to a diet was pretty simple—you ate whatever you could get your hands on. But in this era of dietary excess, things have gotten extremely complicated. Conscious consumers need to consider the health implications of the foods they eat as well as the types of chemicals used in their production, the exploitation of farm labor, whether food animals are treated humanely, and just how much damage their afternoon snack is doing to the climate. Untangling the web of food choices is daunting, but a new study makes things a little bit easier. A paper in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition shows that low-carbon diets that are good for the climate are, as a general rule, much better for human health as well.

Dig Into Food-Upcycling Apps
Around 40 percent of America’s food supply winds up unsold or uneaten each year. That’s roughly 219 pounds per person rotting in fields, swirling down drains, or being shunted to incinerators and landfills that contribute to climate change. Not to mention all the resources—the water, energy, fertilizers, pesticides, land, labor, and transport—that went into producing those squandered calories. But a new crop of food-upcycling apps intends to change all that.

'Nother Day
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Thank God it's also true in traffic... It is possible telling you any of this may change all of our futures in ways no one wants, yet I’ve decided to risk it. I do so because, eternally, most of us can’t shake the weighted blanket of regret we each carry, deep in our core knowing… that we are all just a lot smarter than what we let go down this upcoming day.

Authors and Creators
As I sit here looking through the various stories of the other authors and creators. I say creators cause in my own personal analogy, to become a good author you must also become a good creator. As you put the pen to paper you begin to create, creation came from a great story, the story of evolution, the story of how we came to be. As we sit and begin to read, the author has created a new adventure for the person reading it. No matter what language or where it is read, it will take each and every one of you on a different adventure. I write of my own opinion, not to try and force you to read anything you do not want to, my goal as an author or creator is to take you on an adventure when you read the pages. Let your imagination fly as you read and get immersed into another world or universe. Many a time I turned to a good book to take me away from the troubles of today, to a place of tranquility and peace only to have to come back again ready to face the world. As an author, I want to take you to that place where you can forget about your troubles, a place where you want to be. As the internet explodes, there are more and more people looking for ways out, somewhere to go and get away and I would like to be one of those people to take you there on one of those adventures.

PAST FORWARD
Nobody can hear a scream in the vacuum of space, or so they say. Yesterday, as we threw out the prisoners out of our ship, we could not hear a sound. But their terrified faces are like screaming cries that still echo in my head. As a Vega of this ship, my power held no value to prevent this brutality - all in the name of keeping the majority alive. What an irony it is that the more we try to save humanity from going extinct, it feels like we are losing humanity even more.

Slip Sliding, Sloshing, Flooding, Burning, Collapsing, & Blowing Away
Florida & California, having once been Meccas for vacationers, retirees, & long-term residents, have become hellish environments. Florida is a cesspool of various algal growths & trash-covered beaches caused by human pollution, along with the unstoppable increasing collapse into sinkholes of its honeycombed porous foundation.

Faint hum. Adamus. Adamus. Wake up Adamus! Adamus rises placing an arm around his partner. Evelyn, you're up early. Of course, look at the view we have she replies. All this beauty here, and you choose to sleep past day's beginning. Evelyn Dear, I was dreaming of wakening to you, the stars shine brightest at night. My sweet star, what shall we do with eternity of life together? You know it gets kind of lonely, just the two of us with all these undiscovered areas.
