Wild & Wonderful Firsts
West Virginia has a bad reputation, brought on by Hollywood and the media portraying it as backwoods and at times an uncivilized place. In reality, West Virginia is full of amazing things and rich history everywhere you go. There are urban and rural areas, universities, mountains, valleys, rivers, and so much more. Even more interesting, West Virginia has some wild “firsts” that occurred there, and you’d be surprised at some of them.

The G20 Can Use the Current Crisis To Its Advantage
As we enter a more complex phase of the economic, geopolitics and climate crises, the Group of Industrialized countries G20 prepares to host its annual in person summit in November 2022 under the leadership of Indonesia President. The G20 comprises Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, Turkey, the United Kingdom, the United States, and the European Union. These countries account for 80% of global economic output, 75% of exports and 60% of the world population. While the Presidents and Prime Ministers of these countries have been meeting annually since 1999, except for the 2008 financial crises, the G20 has become a little more than a photo opportunity. Last year G20, the first in person meeting since Covid started, hosted by the Italian Prime Minister, did not move the needle of international cooperation.

Pollution
How are environmental issues caused? The environment doesn’t only affect us physically, but also mentally. That’s right, we need proper environmental conditions, including air quality, water, and temperature, to survive. If these three things aren’t right, then our mental state could become affected. Some people even consider their mood swings to be caused by a change in weather. However, if you want to maintain a positive mindset while battling depression, anxiety, and stress, then you need to take care of the environment around you.

November 2022 Is A Pivotal Month For Sustainability
As we move to the fall of 2022, we should note that November is a busy month with sustainability and green growth summits and opportunities. These include the Egypt Climate Conference of the Parties COP27 and the Group of 20 summit in Indonesia. These events are taking place during an economic recession, a war between Russia and Ukraine, and a very fragile global economy affected by high inflation, supply chain disruptions and post-Covid traumas.
