However the small town of Narvik is the main source of iron ore for Germany, and Great Britain considers it important to stop the ore transportation. In April 1940, the British marine force arrives at Norwegian waters, so a troop of Norwegian soldiers are sent to Narvik as neutrality guards, unaware of the fact that Norway's neutrality has already been breached.
