What is the reason behind Australia's sparse population?
Australia is the sixth largest country in the world and has a land area of approximately 2,969,907 square miles, making it the largest in Oceania. It is also the third largest English-speaking country and the largest in the southern hemisphere. Despite its massive size, Australia is sparsely populated.
