Hon Chong has two main rock clusters. They sit by the sea at the foot of La-San hill. Tides may have shaped these rocks. The larger cluster offshore is called Hon Chong. It features a square-like stone. It rests on a wide, flat rock. The side facing the sea has a very large hand-shaped hollow.
Stacks of rocks of various sizes sit in layers. They form strange shapes piled high without any binding material. These rocks appear stacked from high to low, as if placed by a giant hand. Remarkably, large stones balance precariously. Even with crashing waves, they remain steady.

This creates an archway to another stone group. This second group resembles a woman facing the sea. It's called Hòn Vợ, meaning Wife Rock. Many visitors overlook this formation.

One path leads up Lasan Hill. There, you'll find the cool, breezy Hòn Chồng cafe. The views are amazing from there. This cafe attracts many tourists wanting to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Just a few more steps leads to the old house, also known as Nha Trang Bay Club. This spot displays many photos of Hon Chong and other famous Nha Trang sights. The water level to Hon Chong is quite low. You can walk there along the rocky path below or wade through the water. Alternatively, head to the Club to park your vehicle and buy tickets for both the Club and Hon Chong.
When the tide is low, you do not need to worry about getting wet at Hon Chong. You can also enjoy finding snails and crabs. Sitting peacefully to fish on the rocks at Hon Chong is very enjoyable too.
