Everyone is Iron Man
Subtle as it is, you can tell something is strange about the way Professor Hugh Hull walks. At the MIT media Lab, the professor is something of a legend. He started climbing at the age of seven and had both legs amputated in a climbing accident when he was 17. Before, he was considered one of the best mountaineers in America, and then doctors gave him a prosthetic leg and told him, you can never climb mountains again.

An old man with wings
On the third day of the rain, the Pelayos were inside killing piles of crabs. Later, Pelayo had to throw them into the sea across the rain-flooded yard, because his new born child had a fever overnight, and he thought it was the crabs that brought bad luck. In the middle of the day, when the light was very dim, Pelayo came home from throwing crabs and could vaguely see something wriggling and groaning in the middle of the yard. When he got closer, he saw an old man lying in the mud. He was hampered by huge wings and could not get up no matter how hard he tried.

Enslaved Asian elephants
Elephants carrying wood for people in Southeast Asian countries is nothing new. Spurred by the high price of wood and furniture on the market, countless loggers have been moving into the primeval forests of the Mekong Basin in recent years, openly logging and even illegally logging. But the roads in these rainforest areas are rough and muddy, and transportation is very difficult. All the wood that is cut has to be carried from the mountains to the river, and then transported by cargo ship to the dock on the road, so the domesticated elephants are the main means of transportation. Throughout the dry season, hundreds of domesticated elephants carry heavy logs from virgin forest to river-side beaches, a painstaking process.

My alternative study abroad record
Saint-etienne is a city with a pleasant climate, a famous French football team, and football legends Aime Jacquet and Michel Platini. The university of Monet Saint-Etienne is also home to the National University of France. There is a direct train to Paris, and the city is also home to the famous handmade chocolate Weiss, which, like Hermes and Louis Vuitton, is a symbol of supreme taste for French socialites. For Chinese girl He Ling Wei, her 4-year undergraduate life at The University of Jean Monet Saint-Etienne is just like this famous city. Her supreme quality comes from her unique characteristics and her inner confidence and strength.

The Aurora Borealis
What is the Aurora Borealis Made out of: The Aurora Borealis is caused when the solar wind ions collide with nitrogen and oxygen atoms from the Earth’s atmosphere. The solar wind- which is when ions continuously stream from the sun's surface- makes the auroras more active. Magnetic storms-interaction between charged particles from the solar wind and the Earth’s atmosphere- can lead to, during the time around the spring and autumnal equinoxes-an autumn day when day and night are generally of equal length- be seen in the midlatitudes.

My Adventures Journey
As I walked on the beach, my feet were sinking into the soft sand, and the water was splashing on my bear legs; how refreshing I thought to myself. I enjoyed watching the sea returning to its course and depositing small white bubbles on the edge of the beach. I observed pelicans plunging into the sea, fetching small fish for their nourishment. With the help of the smooth breeze, the seagulls were gliding in the air spreading their wings along the way.

Community garden
I live is a small town. The type of town that everybody vaguely knows everybody and school is a cesspit if knowledge about everything but the actual curriculum. I walk to school every morning and walk back every evening nothing new just the same bills that I never quite get used too dispute crawling up it for 3 years. I’m going off to uni. As far away as I can but still a small town. But you don’t want to know about that that you want to know about the community garden. So did I.

EBay at its very core pioneered the circular economy — of finding new homes for treasures that might otherwise have ended up at the dump. “Avoiding items going into a landfill is very important to our customers,” says Steve Priest, CFO of eBay. “Driving the circular economy is part of everything we do.” But finding new shelves for Beanie Babies is just a small component in eBay’s sustainability efforts, which prioritize slashing greenhouse gas emissions. In eBay’s case, these are mostly tied to electricity used to power vast data centers. Since 2017 eBay has cut its carbon emissions by 29% to 88,000 tons per year. The e-commerce giant became carbon neutral this year and is aiming to achieve a 100% renewable electricity supply for all its offices and data centers by 2025.
