Working, working, working

I have not been too present here on Vocal lately for I have been working on a project for my new job as a text-to-text transcriptionist. Been working on 200 or so handwritten recipe cards for DittoTranscipts.com. Some of these recipes are really hard to read, but it is also fun for it is like solving a mystery or a completing a puzzle of various ingredients and directions on how to make them.

Sometimes I still cannot believe that I found a job using a skill that I learned somewhat in high school and again during my year in business school. Well, I least I am and have used everything I learned throughout my years of education and study from teaching to nursing to transcribing and even writing here on Vocal, which with all the ups and downs is still a fun place to read and write.

I am still writing those drabbles on the 'Dork' series there should be more posted soon and I am still going to try and write some more drabbles on Grimm tales and also on Edgar Allen Poe stories and poems on how and what I see and learn from them. I am almost halfway done with those recipes for Ditto and since working on those I have had not a lot of time to catch up on all my notifications here or even to write.

To me writing is the best profession for it's really all the professions in one if you look at it in certain ways. One day you can be in a classroom the next in courtroom and the next even in an operating room for writing you are a teacher, lawyer, nurse or doctor. You share your ideas and creativity in all and many more professions even though some may be weird at times, but being a writer, you can be whomever you need to be.
