A concert organised by George Harrison and Ravi Shankar to raise funds to assist the war torn country of Bangaldesh. With Bob Dylan, Ringo Starr, and Eric Clapton, on board, by the mid-nineties the concert had easily raised over 45 million dollars and helped bring the war to an end.

Andy Warhol's Campbell Soup Can
Perhaps I am ignorant of how modern art works. Or just perhaps not interpreting the work of Andy Warhol correctly. But I have never understood why his painting of soup cans was so significant. And I am sure the person that created the designs for Campbells was no more impressed.
