Social Services

acrostic poem critique

In my writing I like to share what I have learned and used in my career as a nurse. I studied Human services/Counseling along with Teacher education and Accounting/Office skills. At the time I was a nurse I also got to work as an Activities assistant director. Here is an acrostic poem defining or describing the world of Social Services.

Society needs and wants,

Opportunities to understand themselves and others,

Continuing to learn more and how we understand each other better,

Individuals or groups working together,

Allowances are made,

Learning how to do.

Services available and offered,

Extrinsic motivations,

Reasons given why in need,

Various causes needing help,

Intrinsic motivations,

Communication is the key,

Eliciting emotions that need to come out to help whomever,

Security and safety secured.
