Refreshing the book of horror filmmaking and storytelling, Wes Craven and Kevin Williamson put the frights and fun back into the dead donkey of a genre that needed a good kick up the ass. Satirical meta fiction at its finest that works as both a homage and parody of horror.

Ooh a horror review! A ringing endorsement, I'll see about watching it. I'm always hesitant in this genre. Also, gotta love your word play, "dead donkey of a genre that needed a good kick up the ass." 😂

It's a great series, indeed. The last episode was surprisingly good!

My top favorite series of all time.

  • One of my very favorite trilogies turned quadrilogy turned quintilogy. And it got Drew Barrymore back on track.
