Amazing Madness From Vince Gilligan

Introduction

This is from Vince Gilligan, who gave us "Breaking Bad" and "Better Call Saul", though this is an entirely different kettle of fish, but still an amazing watch.

Carol is a Fantasy Author and lives with her partner and manager, Helen. I was wondering what the fuss was about, and then it happened...

What Happened?

Humanity overnight became a "hive mind" apart from twelve people, and Carol is one of the twelve.

When it happens, Helen dies.

She makes it her mission to save humanity from the "hive mind". The "hive mind" is peaceful and happy, but Carol sees them as brainwashed.

Carol has lots of run-ins, but eventually semi-accepts the "hive-mind" but still fights to reverse what has happened.

Then there is a "Soylent Green" moment.

Conclusion

I cannot say much more, and I am halfway through the penultimate episode, but check out the trailer, and if you want to see something you don't see every day, dive into Plur1bus.

Breaking BN would have to be one of the iconic series ever made. I have all the DVDs for "Better Call Saul," but I have never got around to watching it.

I watched several episodes of this, Mike. It kept my interest, for sure. I just don't like a time lag between seasons. Momentum is everything.

  • The other day, when you told me about this series, I Googled it and read the short synopsis. It intrigued me a lot. But now after watching the trailer, it doesn't seem intriguing to me anymore, lol
