'Owen' is a children's story written and illustrated by Kevin Henkes. This is the story of a little mouse named Owen who loves his blankey very much. His parents do not seem to mind till a nosy neighbor says something about Owen and is blanket. The parents have to figure a way to help Owen. This is a good story to share with children when they need to give something up or a way. The pictures are really cute and uses colors that make you enjoy the story just like the children you could teach from this children's story now.

If I were still working at the elementary school, I would seek out this little children's book and read it to students. It sounds wonderful, especially in the realm of teaching kids.
