Beautiful Boy: Heartbreak and Hope.. Content Warning.
I first heard of Beautiful Boy when I was looking for something to watch on Amazon Prime video with one of my favorite actors. I had heard bits and pieces about the film, including the two main Actors: Timothee Chalamet (Nic) and Steve Carell (David). Contraception: It's Not Magic, It's Science. AI-Generated.
In a society deeply rooted in traditional beliefs, conversations about sex education are often met with hushed whispers and avoidance. As a young college student navigating the complexities of adulthood in the Philippines, I have noticed a palpable absence of discussions surrounding sexual health both within academic settings and social circles. This silence, heavy and all-encompassing, speaks volumes about the pervasive knowledge gaps and limited access to reproductive healthcare, particularly when it comes to contraceptives. The taboo surrounding the topic is like an invisible forcefield shielding it from open dialogue, leaving many young adults ill-equipped to make informed decisions about their own bodies and well-being.

The Woman Who Survived Two Atomic Bombs. AI-Generated.
The harrowing story of Tsutomu Yamaguchi, often known as the man who survived two atomic bombs, is widely known. However, fewer people are familiar with the equally extraordinary tale of a woman who shared a similar fate. Her name was Akiko Takakura, and her survival through two of the most devastating events in human history stands as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit.

To all the fathers out there. Happy Father's Day for this is a day for you to enjoy with anyone and everyone. This is a day for you to relax and have fun with whomever you may want. You will receive some presents that you may and may not need, but you know that they came with love whether it is a card, a tie, or some cologne that you may only wear on some very, very special occasion. For this day is a chance to make connections and memories.
