It Follows

Critique Challenge Entry

By Paul StewartPublished 2 years ago 1 min read

It Follows centres around a young woman followed by a sinister force after having sex. An ingenius and subversive horror flick that on the surface seems to be about promiscuity among teens and STDs but is more about the inevitability of death. Everything you do in life, won't stop death.

Interesting critique of the film. You have me intrigued. I’ve heard of this one but not seen it !

  • Yea it may have a good message but I felt this movie was so slow and boring. I almost didn't wanna finish it, lol. But I love Maika Monroe! I've watched so many movies that she's acted!

I haven't seen this and I probably never will, but I think it's well-written and loads of people will appreciate it. Well done.

  • Just what I needed, another reason not to have sex. Thanks, Paul, lol.

That movie is a great example of how much you can do with a simple premise. And I'll always remember that one scene that has to do with an opened door. . .

I kinda' remember this one. Another one for the "rewatch" list. Great job, Paul!
