A comedic social commentary on the mental effects of the pandemic. Filled with songs and jokes that I think about daily. Bo Burnham was my top Spotify artist for the song “All Eyes on Me” and “Bezos.” Do yourself a favor and watch this. Filmed and directed by Bo Burnham.

I was going to do this one! But I hadn't watched it in so long, and I don't have Netflix anymore. So glad to see that it got covered! My husband and I were addicted to the album. I have it entirely memorized -- yes, even "Welcome To The Internet." Hehe. Great critique!
Yes! Glad to see someone talking about Bo. I was just listening to this group of songs the other day. He is so spot on in his commentary on society.
i fucking love this guy
I just watched haha He is great !
I am so glad someone did this!! I love Inside! I put the playlist on while I write too! Brilliantly Written!
Ooh I need to watch this. A name I hear a lot!
I love this special! He captured what many of us were feeling during the pandemic!
It’s really good isn’t it Jazz? I Love that you did a critique for this.☺️ Have you seen his other comedy shows on Netflix? I became a fan a few years back. I also really like Promising Young Woman! 😄
Burnham's work is brilliant and your review does it justice!
Inside was my most watched piece of media that year. As melancholic as it was, it filled me with brimming hope and just joy to be a creative! I think Inside is the culmination of his work, it just brings the scathing critique of the world we live in which was always present in his other works to the front with so much confidence, it's impossible to not get moved. And all the songs, bangers!!!
He had me in stitches with his make happy special. I also loved his movie Eighth Grade.
I will have to check it out
I love this special sososoososo much. Wonderful critique. He was also my Top Spotify artist and every single one of my top songs was from Inside the year it came out. LOL
I honestly love Bo Burnham. It wasn’t until his name started popping up everywhere before the release of Inside that I had remembered him from Vine and recalled his other stand-up specials. I find him both hilarious and real, combining that raw emotion with humor. He tells it like it is while interspersing that with comedic jabs. And he’s really good with music production. Like, insanely good.
Alrighty, I'll do myself that favour then. Lol! Awesome review!
Personal favourite is, "That Funny Feeling" Have watched the piece a number of times now. It's a work of pure genius. Defined an era in a way no other piece of art could. Great choice of critique Jazzy.
I look forward to checking this out. Great to find newness. Thank you for that. 🙂
Intrigued! Always looking for something new to discover x
good critique, never heard of them though
I first heard "what" and got totally hooked on his work. Good to see I'm not alone!
I’ve never heard of him. I’ll definitely check this out. Thank you for sharing.
I loved Inside so much! Brilliant stuff and spot on review!
I do kinda love Bo Burnham and have heard most of the album/soundtrack...should have known there was a performance to go with it. Will look that out and watch it. Well done and thank you for this great critique! Awesome use of the word count limit!
