Hyper Knife (2025) Kdrama Review

So, guys, I have finally finished watching the Hyper Knife Kdrama, which was running on JioHotstar, and I must admit that no matter what role you give Park Eun-bin, she always shines. If you remember, she entertained us with her brilliant performance in Extraordinary Attorney Woo.

And trust me you will enjoy watching his psycho in this Kdrama.

Well, you don't have to do much hard work to watch this Kdrama; you only have to watch 8 episodes.

Important Note: There is nothing very hardcore or dirty in the series, but during the operation or surgery scenes, everything is shown in full detail so if you plan to watch this series with your small children, then they might feel a little uncomfortable, so be careful.

What is Hyper Knife Kdrama About?

Well if we talk about the story then Jung Se-ok is a genius neurosurgeon who has saved hundreds of lives but one day a mistake during an operation changed his entire life, his medical license was taken away, he was expelled from the hospital and the biggest shock was that his own mentor Professor Choi Deok-hee left him.

Now, he had only two options: either accept defeat or prove his ability.

After losing his identity, Jung chose a new path away from the law, an underground surgery clinic, where saving the lives of patients meant making your own rules and breaking the law.

But when her paths cross with her mentor again, the question arises whether this is just a coincidence or a big conspiracy.

Will Jung Se-ok be able to prove her innocence or is she just a pawn in a big game? If you like medical dramas like Doctor Romance or Doctor Stranger, then Hyper Knife will give you a new dark or thriller experience.

This drama is unfortunately not available in Hindi, it is available in English dubbed.

Hyper Knife Review

If we talk about the series, I will only say that its beginning seemed very hardcore to me, meaning the maniac performance or psycho things that I was expecting from its theme, I got to see that, but only in the starting phase.

When this Kdrama comes in the second half, it becomes a bit predictable and you get to see the same things that are usually seen in a normal medical drama.

So the second half did not hit me as hard personally, but it does not mean that this Kdrama is bad.

I will only tell you that if you like watching dark burn medical thrillers dramas in which you get to see two great performances of two great actors, their psycho levels, and how they crazily hate each other, meaning they are hell-bent on killing each other if you want to experience that level of madness then you can definitely give this Kdrama a try.

It is a thriller, and you won't get to see many twists and turns, but yes, the way the makers have made you experience the thriller portion, you will definitely feel it.

Apart from that, the scenes of surgery, etc., are fun to watch but don't watch with your little children.

The strong performance of the actors was also a reason why I was invested in this Kdrama.

Since it is a medical drama, the makers haven't done anything new, so don't go with the expectation of something out of the box. You will get to see a regular story.

If we talk about my rating, then 7.5 out of 10 stars go to this Kdrama from my side.
