Good Things DO Happen!!!
We Can Be Happy

Introduction
Most of the time, I find things that make me happy. As I write this before work, I am listening to a box set of Steely Dan CDs, "Citizen Steely Dan", not everyone's choice but when I worked as a computer operator at Peter Craig in Preston, my shift leader Vicky insisted I bring in my Steely Dan tapes because she loved them.
My favourite Steely Dan song is probably "Barrytown" so that's the one I will share here. My friend, the comedian John Scott, really doesn't like them, but he's a great and very funny guy and you can find out a little about him here:
Some Happy Things
I saw this Facebook post about a street library. It's great that people share things like this, and while it doesn't benefit the authors in sales (just as when you buy second-hand records doesn't benefit the artist) but in the long run, hopefully these readers and listers will buy things new.
I have a cat that visits for treats and provides lots of entertainment but has now decided the treats are not up to her standard:

Yesterday a friend told me that they had some great news and that made me very happy (and obviously they are too).
Today, I woke up to another $24.50 Vocal Ambassador bonus, which is nice:

If you want to be a Vocal Ambassador, it is available to every Vocal Creator, and details of my strategy are here:
Over the weekend, I went to a great surf/punk gig at Billy Bootleggers and met up with many friends, including Sandy Lee/Rioie Palmer, who was performing with The Screaming Seagulls plus Lynne, Sheila and Fiona, as well as meeting up with the Canadian headliners who are from Toronto and were great to talk with. They were so good I bought a CD:
Conclusion
So good things happen every day, sometimes it is just a case of realising that things are good, and not assuming they are just mundane things that happen every day.
It is Friday, so for some, that is the last day of the working week. I love Friday night because I know I have two mornings with the option of having a lie-in.
Thanks so much for reading, you are one of the reasons I have a smile on my face today.

Since I tend to live my live upside down, your smile to me appears a frown. But since as upside down my frown I wear, it appears to you one more smile to share.
Great things to know MikeyD. Enjoy the good life.
A great reminder to enjoy the little everyday things in life! Also, I have a few street libraries in my neighborhood as well. We call them "free little libraries".
Good things do happen throughout the day, you just have to learn to look and recognize them. Love this, Mike. The kitty is pretty <3
