Shanno Hale has created a collection of fairy tales that we all know, but with a twist. The heroes and heroines are now parents and all have children, who are now in their second year of high school known as their 'legacy year'. This is when the kids have to relive their parents' stories. The question is 'Do they really want too though?'

The fairy tales range from Snow White to Cinderella to Alice to even Sleeping Beauty. All the children/students are or seems to be like their parents in some respects, but they are also quite different in other aspects, and what they, the kids, want to accomplish in their lives and to be able to make their own choices, but like all kids they just want to make their parents proud and have them be proud of them.

This is the reality of life: children want us to be proud of them and to feel free to make their own choices.
