Dork Drabble #11

drabble

a reading room (pexels.com)

On February 4 the question is 'You got trapped in the mall overnight with your BFF's. Make a list of things you would do? If I got stuck in the mall alone or with friends, I would probably find a bookstore with some cozy chairs and find a book to read or a few of them and relax, but in reality, now-a-days that could not happen for when 'last call is heard and the mall closes all the stores bring down the gates and lockdown, and the security guards walk around making sure no one remained flashing their flashlights everywhere.

Finding books in a mall would be one of the very few reasons I would go to the mall in the first place. To think of sitting after hours, relaxed with endless knowledge at my fingertips, sounds delightful. Ugh, but yeah, those darn gates!

I like your idea of finding a bookstore to relax. But in my experience, malls usually have strict security after closing. It'd be tough to find a quiet spot like that. I'd probably try to find a safe corner and wait it out, maybe play some games on my phone to pass the time until morning.

I would head for the bed shop and make myself comfy write a few poems then maybe sleep.
