Book reviewing

critique acrostic

classic novels (pexels.com)

For the past few years, I have been a volunteer book reviewer for several online sites. Honestly, I was looking for a paid position to review books for say Publisher's Weekly and a few other companies, but they have never let me know one way or another. Being a book reviewer, one learns a lot and it does get lonely at times as does being a freelance writer but that does not bother me. Books are great company for me. Books are our friends.

Books of all kinds with

opportunities to learn about

other people and ideas

keeping me

reading and

reflecting my ideas to

every other reader of

various

interests with

enough

wonder to

indicate that

nothing is

greater than books to learn and enjoy.

I have always loved books from the time I learned to read. I remember running home from school and telling all the big kids, "I can read," and then proceed to make them listen to me read Dick and Jane. Books open up worlds. I found "disciplined" book clubs annoying because it ruined my enjoyment of the book!
