Writing is a job of patience.

Reading everything you can.

Interesting pieces.

Trying to get the words right.

Intriguing for readers

Noticing that at times you are getting nothing done, but

Gaining knowledge.

(Note: In reading and writing for various writing projects I have been working I have not really had time to read here on Vocal. There have been a few other chores that I have been needing to do as well and they are almost done. I will be reading and commenting on all notifications very soon. I think some of my old stories, poems and articles could stand some reading and I would appreciate some thoughts on them even though they go back to 2020. Thank you.)

Writing can be immensely challenging, that's for sure.

I too have trouble with time - reading my book, or reading stories on Vocal? writing a poem or story, or reading - which, book or Vocal? Wait - I need to look at the birds; I need a walk. I'm stiff from reading stories on Vocal, I need to stretch....on and on, every day. I have to pace myself, LOL.

I totally have to take time away. This month has been very busy. 😊💕

  • Yes, sometimes we do have to take a break from Vocal to work on other things
