Blue feelings abound for when you feel like your family and even some friends do not really want you around. How would this make you feel? There is a Christmas special called 'The Year Without a Santa Claus' and somewhere in the middle of this cartoon a little girl is coloring a blue house with a blue Christmas tree, and she is singing 'Blue Christmas'. When I feel blue at this time of year, I think that I am not really alone and it kind of makes me feel a little better hearing this song, bet that sounds strange doesn't it, but it works most of the time.

Having a Blue Christmas really isn't that bad really. Blue and green Christmas lights and blue and green decorations are pretty and soothing actually from all the bright colors of the multi-colored lights that usually abound. People on those sugar highs and energy drinks buzzing around and even at times complaining about the season. It does make a person think what is really important to themselves and others. The real reason of Christmas is Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and when I think of him truly I am not alone even in a crowd that I feel really does not want me around.

This is such a genuinely sincere and heartfelt critique, Mark. It sounds as though this Christmas special highlights the fact that so many are indeed quite blue during the holidays. Happy Christmas to you. I hope your day is colored with amazing shades of joy.
