Barrier Between Us

Do you ever think that how much our life would be easy if all of us would speak only one language and if there would be only one language all around the world. There would be no language barrier while we communicate to each other because all of us could speak easily to anyone and everyone, the reason would be that we would have only one language. But instead of having one and only one language all around the world we have many and different languages and because of this there are many problems which we face.

Reading Books Or Novel Issues:

You see whenever we read a book and that book or novel which is not in our native language then it is a little bit difficult for us to understand that what is written in the book because if you know about the levels of reading in which first level is “Reading the lines” which means read and understand each and every word, second level is “Reading between the lines” which means to getting through the intentions of the writer in the context or situation which is also called as Character Analysis and the third level is “Reading beyond the lines” which means think of something which is not written in the book which is simply imagining things and predicting. But how can we get to the second and third level of reading if we not easily go through the first level of reading which is “Reading the lines” which is the reason that it is not easy to read and understand the other language book or novel.

Problem And Issues Of Education:

Problem of language is same for the education also because when we study any subject in other language it changes out perspective about the subject completely and most of the time, we don't get the clear and cut concept about any topic which we learn in our subject, which is the major issue in some country where school, colleges and universities and all other educational institutes gives priority to other language instead of giving importance and priority to their native language. Because most of the subjects are teach in other languages instead of teaching the students all the subjects in their native language. I learned and understand about this issue when I gave my ninth class first exam which was of Computer Science exam and when I got my question paper, I find out that question paper was given in other language, the language in which I was taught Computer Science and as well as question paper was given in my native language. Then, I finally understand that why many students and including me are not good at studying and figured out that main problem is the language barrier. It is a major problem because it is not that we are not capable to speak such language easily or write easily it is that because of studying each and every subject in other language, since childhood we are dependent on some other language when it comes to studying our any subject but we could not get the good concept of any topic in that subject but on the other hand in our home we speak in our native language and because of this we are not capable to speak that other language and we are not even good at our native language.

Issues For Tourists:

Language barrier is also a major problem for tourists because many people around the world likes to tour different countries and they visiting different countries and tour the whole country but these tourists face this problem because they had to learn a little bit of that language where there are visiting but still people all around the world happily and joyfully tours different countries. These people have fun to visit different countries but still afraid of that country’s people if they mispronounced any word of their mother tongue.

Speaking and learning different languages now a days is not a big deal but when this issue takes over any student’s education then it would definitely a big deal. That is why all educational institutes all around the world should teach their all subjects in their native language instead of teaching in other language. Because if a student clearly understands the question, then somehow the student would capable to answer that question or else the student would never be capable to answer that question even the student knows the answer.
