"Where’s That Motherf*cker At?" Dad Armed With Shotgun Ready to Protect Daughter by Any Means Necessary
Mariah fought back and escaped her attacker

It was October 18, 2019, a warm and sunny day in Prescott, Arizona. Amber felt uneasy when her 15-year-old teenage daughter did not get off the school bus. Her telephone rang; it was her daughter, Mariah. “I’ve been kidnapped,” Mariah cried on the other end of the line. She gave her mother the address to the neighbor’s house where she had been hiding for the past hour and hung up the phone.
Amber told her husband, Armando, about the call. Armando and Mariah’s brother prepared to rescue her by any means necessary. He grabbed shotguns and headed to the address, unsure what they would encounter.
Mariah Kidnapped While Walking Home From School
Hours earlier, Mariah had been kidnapped by a 36-year-old sex offender named Daniel Littlehale. After three hours of abuse, Mariah escaped and ran to a neighbor’s house and called her mom.
Samuel Thorpe’s door was unlocked. The frightened teen ran into the laundry room, where she hid for about an hour before feeling safe enough to reveal herself after hearing a female’s voice. Samuel and his mother called 9-1-1 while Mariah called her parents.

Armando and Mariah’s brother arrived before the police. Believing Tharpe hurt his daughter, Armando held him and his stepfather at gunpoint in the driveway before proceeding toward the house, firing a shot inside.
Once inside, Armando discovered his badly beaten daughter. He barely recognized her beautiful face. He yelled, “Where’s that motherfucker at,” as she informed him that Tharpe was not her attacker; he saved her life.
Mariah pointed authorities to Littlehale’s house. He was taken into custody without incident.
Littlehale Kidnaps Mariah
Littlehale forced Mariah into his car as she walked home from Prescot High School after missing the bus. He took her to his house house where he sexually assaulted her four times, struck her with his fist 40 to 50 times, struck her in the head with a barbell, urinated on her three times, smashed her head into the wall, pulled out her nose ring and forced her to swallow it, and struck her with open hands.
As Littlehale climbed on top of Mariah, the teen fought back, grabbing onto his testicle and penis as hard as possible and twisting. Littlehale bit Mariah on the thigh, but she maneuvered into another position and plunged both of her thumbs into his eyes, knocking off his glasses so she could make her escape.
Mariah ran for her life, leaving Littlehale coughing and grimacing in pain.
Police Arrest Littlehale
Mariah directed police to Lttlehale’s house and he was arrested. On April 8, 2021, a jury found him guilty of four counts of sexual assault, kidnapping, and tampering with physical evidence. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison on each count of sexual assault and kidnapping to run consecutive and four years for the tampering conviction.
Mariah continues to inspire teenagers and young women, yet lives with the trauma and emotional impact the incident had on her life. She appeared on The Steve Wilkos Show to tell her story and hopes sharing can help others somehow.
