What We Learned From the Amber Heard Vs. Johnny Depp Trial
An opinion piece about the famous Heard Vs. Depp Trial.

At the height of the #MeToo movement, we watched as Johnny Depp was dragged through the proverbial mud because of one woman's false accusations of domestic violence. We watched an innocent man suffer from the vindictive actions of one legitimately crazy woman who can't handle rejection.
But what did we learn from all this?
Well...I'd say it's pretty safe to assume after this that not ALL women can be believed at face value. It threw the base concept of the #MeToo movement right out the window that "all women should be believed". Because if we had used that ideology during this trial, that poor man would have suffered immeasurably at the hands of a sadistically vindictive woman with a vendetta.
In no civilized nation should an innocent person suffer at the hands of another. No person should be able to have the kind of power that Amber seemed to have in all this over another. They showed us that no one is immune to the manipulations of others in this society.
It has been proven that Amber had been lying about everything, so I am not hesitant to put the blame squarely where it belongs here unlike a lot of other people I guess. If you lie in court about something as serious as sexual assault and domestic violence, I will lose any and all respect for you. By doing this she cheapened the words with her lies doing real victims of this experience a serious disservice. Because now women will have to struggle harder to get real justice in real situations of DV/SA.
She gaslit Johnny and tried to gaslight the media and the court by putting the blame of HER actions on her victim (classic class B personality disorder kind of behavior), admitting on recorded audio to hitting Johnny exposing herself as the abuser she really is. We saw on full display exactly what a class b personality type really is, and just how much damage they can do in a relationship.
Now think back. How many women have you known in your life, who behave like Amber Turd over here? The #MeToo movement is a lethally dangerous thing in the hands of someone like her, as we saw in Johnny's case. Now Johnny is an extremely rich and powerful man, so he had the money at his disposal to build a solid defense against her lies and manipulations, but what if your average blue collar joe happens to run across one of these kinds of women. How well do you think they would fare in that situation? (Just some questions to ask yourself as they are all relevant to this case, and point out some serious elephants in the room when it comes to this #MeToo movement).
Many of us have been through relationships like Johnny and Amber ourselves. I think that is why this trial gained so much public exposure. On some level, most of us can relate to this trial. We have all been in a toxic relationship at least once in our lives. (at least anyone who has played the dating game on any level)
So, We learned that people are capable of some horribly immoral things to get what they want, That women shouldn't just be trusted at face value, that men can be victims of DV too, that our justice system (In America anyway) still works in cases like this at least (Obviously Australia needs to fix some shit over there, because that was a sham of a trial), and that as a culture we probably need to re-assess the liberties we give women when it comes being able to make a claim like the one Amber made.
I think they should at least have to have some kind of concrete unaltered or unedited proof of the abuse before making a public accusation like that. Women should not be believed JUST because they are a woman. That gives EVIL women FAR too much power to destroy people.
I dunno... personally I think for her to just be able to accuse him and nearly ruin his life because of that accusation, that shouldn't be able to happen to people. There should be some kind of system in place to prevent that on some level. Ya know like have some kind of harsher punishment for lying about it than a person would get for actually doing the deed maybe? So there would be literally ZERO reason for a person to lie about it unless they have a death wish or something, ya know?
Right now we don't have much consequence for people who do things like Amber Heard has been proven to have done. We have no real law that prevents women from just claiming abuse out of some kind of spite or sheer masochistic entertainment. How do we protect all those potential innocent victims who will likely end up in jail just for having the misfortune of crossing the path of a female Sociopath? Comments? Suggestions? I would love to hear what your thoughts may be on this.
