The Victim Play

Abbie had done it! She had managed to establish herself as the victim in the situation. She took on the personality of the girl she was envious of and hated. She played as her and told everyone those actions were those of the girl by the name of Charlette.

Abbie is older and could have herself framed as the wise one with money that she could use to position that the younger woman was jealous of what she had. Charlette knew that money is not all there is. Status can be cute but is overall not the best thing life has to offer.

Charlette does not have much but that is on purpose. She would rather show care to the world and fight for what she believes in instead of worrying about image. She has a spark inside that keeps her pushing through and headstrong even when others come together to try and hold her down. The lies told about her intentions and personality would not phase her. She would keep going even when she was seen as the one up to all of the false accusations. Even when she was treated as the crazy one.

Abbie pretended to be Charlette when she was sleeping with her husband and then told the world Charlette was a homewrecker trying to gain what Abbie has. Abbie told everyone that Charlette has a lot of money she actually doesn't, so the story becomes confusing on then why she also for some reason wanted extra? Abbie attacked Charlette for what she did not do. Charlette had to live her days being disrespected and torn down by others who believed the wrong story. Charlette worked hard while others told her she wasn't doing anything and was lazy. They stole her work and believed it to be funny, but you can't fully steal the work of someone you misinterpreted

All these enraged female voices would try to sound like her but it ended up being a mixture of projections and self inserts. Charlette knew this and knew that they could keep playing victim and adding people to this, even the entirety of cities and states. Even when following Charlette all day there is no real way to truly take down someone's entire life. They will still flow on and be okay when they are someone who doesn't need outside validation to be well.

Charlette wondered why people were all for the obvious suspect. Is it because they were paid? They also have seen Charlette and would like to be envious? A twist of narrative and belief in lies? Their husband played along too like it was a fun and sexy role play instead of someones complete life destruction. He could look cool by having a made up mistress or didn't want to upset his wife to let her have all she wanted? Letting your wife take on someone's personality and play victim to that mirror is not great to let her take.

Charlette is then cut off from love and care she should be able to have access to. She is pushed to not being able to feel safe anywhere she goes and has to prepare for bad interactions with people she has never met before in her life. She has to keep fighting off the demons Abbie gets praised for having while a girl who needs others has to be pushed to get away and laughed at for doing so. She has to try to get on with her life while Abbie's vendetta runs stronger, keeping up hex blocks and evl eye on Charlette's life.
