The Perfect Score

we had to...

By Rameesha AsharPublished 3 years ago 3 min read

I’ve always been fascinated by heists. The thrill of the chase, the excitement of planning and executing the perfect score. It’s like a puzzle that needs solving, with high stakes and big rewards.

So when I heard about the opportunity to pull off the perfect score, I jumped at the chance.

It started with a call from an old friend. He had a job, he said, one that would make us both rich beyond our wildest dreams. He was talking about a bank heist, the biggest one in the city’s history.

I was skeptical at first. The idea of robbing a bank seemed too risky, too dangerous. But my friend, let’s call him Jack, had a plan. A foolproof plan.

It all started with the bank itself. It was a brand-new facility, with state-of-the-art security systems and the latest technology. But Jack had an inside man, someone who worked at the bank and knew the ins and outs of the security system.

We spent weeks planning, going over every detail of the heist. We scouted the location, watching the comings and goings of the bank employees. We learned the routines of the security guards, the layout of the building, and the strengths and weaknesses of the alarm system.

We also recruited a team of professionals, each with their own unique skill set. There was Nick, a safe cracker with years of experience; Sara, a master hacker who could bypass any security system; and Leo, a getaway driver who could navigate the city’s streets like a pro.

On the day of the heist, we were all nerves. We met early in the morning, going over the plan one last time. We had to be precise, we had to be quick, and we had to be invisible. The bank was located in the heart of the city, surrounded by busy streets and crowds of people. We arrived in a nondescript van, dressed in dark clothing and wearing masks and gloves. We had all the tools we needed: bolt cutters, drills, and explosives.

Jack led the way, using his inside knowledge to guide us through the building. We made our way to the vault, which was located on the bottom floor. We had to bypass several layers of security to get there, but Sara’s hacking skills proved invaluable.

Nick went to work on the safe, using his expertise to crack the complex combination lock. It took him longer than we had anticipated, but he remained calm and focused.

When the safe finally opened, we were all stunned. It was filled with stacks of cash, gold bars, and jewels of all kinds. We quickly loaded everything into duffel bags, making sure not to leave any traces behind.

But just as we were about to make our escape, the alarm went off. We had triggered a secondary security system that we hadn’t accounted for.

Panic set in, and we all started running in different directions. I could hear the sound of police sirens in the distance, getting closer by the second.

But Jack had one more trick up his sleeve. He had arranged for a diversion, a staged accident that would distract the police long enough for us to make our getaway.

We all met up at a pre-arranged location, where Leo was waiting with the van. He had the engine running and the doors open, ready to make a quick escape.

We piled into the van, our hearts still pounding with adrenaline. We drove away, taking side streets and back alleys to avoid detection. We had done it. We had pulled off the perfect score.

We split the loot evenly, each of us walking away with a fortune. We went our separate ways, disappearing into the night like ghosts.

For weeks, we stayed off the radar, lying low and enjoying.
